I’ve photographed a few local games, at field level, where I can see the action up close. It can be a darn rough game! And I appreciate the passion for it some have.
That being said, it’s boring as sh^t
Yes.
I’ve given and received on a lacrosse field. Funnest sport I’ve ever played.
Not a huge fan of watching any sport, honestly… but soccer is god aweful.
Just hockey at 1/10th speed
I actually had a guy tell me what a good game it was! I laughed at him involuntarily.
I’m actually beginning to like soccer more and more the more I watch it.
I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s match USA vs Iran.
Typical liberal thinks everyone should think the way they do. I will choose my own favorites myself. What else do you want to force on me? Eating bugs, paying big dollars for imaginary things like “climate change’ hoax, kiss your boots...
I only played Summer League once. (I was a basketball player back in the day)
Playing Midfielder is brutal, but I got on more since no one wanted the position.
And pointless running at that. No strategery, not much finesse [aside from foot dribbling...there are some good moves there] and faked injuries at every touch or dirty look.
Yeah, what a game.
Hard NO.
Thanks, soy-dads...your sons are playing pansy sports thanks to you caving to your soccer Mom wives.
That’s what I played.
Lots and lots of running. Used to wonder what I was thinking watching the guys playing attack just spectating while I was playing defense.
Real football? You mean the game where feet seldom touch the ball, and most of the players would have a heart attack if they had to run as much as a player of the actual real football? I will admit that the non foot football has fetching cheerleaders.
I used to have to play it in gym class, along with dodge ball and other games that I hated, such as football and baseball. My home team in Buffalo, The Bills, got a big boost when OJ Simpson joined it. Other than being a wife-beating, coke snorting creep, and a murderer, he could really move that weird-looking ball down the field.
Nope, as far as I’m concerned, it is played by illegals in the US. Find any community soccer game and I bet 90% are illegal. Deport them all, let them keep their soccer balls.
The most “enjoyable” part of soccer is the exceptionally bad acting when players writhe on the field, faking injury, after someone runs near them. I really think there should be an academy award category for that.
I love women’s topless curling
NOT SOCCER! IT’S FEETSBALL!
Would rather watch pickle ball
A pitchers' duel is a rarity, a shutout even more so. A 0-0 tie in kickball is very common.
I only watch the last two minutes of basketball in the final game. It lasts about 15 minutes with all the stops, starts, timeouts, etc.
At least with soccer the game is over in less than two hours, no commercials except during halftime.
So an hour of actual playing time in football takes 3-1/2 hours at least. All those stops and starts, tv timeouts. Darn good thing I enjoy watching it, minus the commercials. Can’t stand watching all the stupid ads, even during the Super Bowl.
I enjoy soccer. Don’t really care if anyone else does, or does not.
