A problem that already has become so severe in America's health care industry that a physicians' group has launched a campaign demanding that Congress intervene has flared again.
This time it is affecting the life of a 14-year-old girl who needs a lifesaving kidney transplant - but has been refused medical care by Duke University Hospital because she is unvaccinated.
WND reported earlier that situation had developed so often that the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons created an online process to allow Americans to email their members of Congress.
The AAPS is demanding that transplant centers be legally prohibited from "treating an individual as ineligible to donate or receive an organ" or assign "a lower priority to an individual waiting to receive an organ" if that individual has declined to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.

Pureblood——$1,000/ pint?
I’ll sell mine for $800 a pint and throw in 0.25% alcohol at no extra charge.
That is Funny !

Reminds one of those who refused ‘black’ blood back in the sixties. Or, Nazi Germany.
I see people online using expressions like “Pureblood” and I consider the possibilities.
Could be Pharma, Leftist or Federal trolls trying to discredit vaccine opposition which they have consistently claimed is racist.
In the days of the KLAN, Dugway Duke would’ve called the Quakers and Blacks they protected from the slavers - terrorists and traitors.
Reminds me of disallowing blood donations from people who are HIV positive.
You ass.

Not a valid analogy since there is no evidence to support the claims that vaccinated blood poses a health problem

That is a completely unjustified personal attack.
Ah...somebody got their feelings hurt?
Considering the gaslighting you do to us who refuse your Gubmit Branch Covidian stance - it’s completely justified.
Uh, okay,.....🔬😲😵🚫😷💉
And there is zero proof there is no risk as well
Our family and larger circle have begun arrangements for donating and storing i uncontaminated blood in the event one of us needs some, absolutely not taking a chance with the extra crap from the vax if there is any viable way not to no matter the cost

The gaslighting comes from the anti-vaxxer conspiracy cult including people like Malone, Mercola, Gold, etc., etc.

All vaccines, all medications have risks.

Nothing wrong with building your supply of familty sourced blood. Hope you choose well in your storage facility. Some don’t promise you’ll get your blood.
BTW, Red cells are stored in refrigerators at 6ºC for up to 42 days. Platelets are stored at room temperature in agitators for up to five days. Plasma and cryo are frozen and stored in freezers for up to one year. So, you’ll need to keep donating to have a ready supply of your ‘pure blood’.
That’s part of the issue with logistics and who else we invite in to make it workable
Fortunately me of the elders in our group is a wealthy retired doctor who is mostly driving this
Is this the controversy or the invented "controversy" stated in the headline?
If being vaccinated is a reason to not give or receive blood then that would also have rule out any person who has ever been exposed to a virus.
Transplant centers are allowed to set their own rules as to what is required for transplant. I researched about two months ago and posted that some transplant centers do not require covid vaccinations. I guess that is not important as it easier to stir controversy.
Additionally there is no large cry for unvaccinated blood. I have not had a single patient raise this issue in the last 2.5 years. As such once the reasonable conclusion is that there is a small set of people who are pushing a story that simply is not seen but making it sound as if there is a wave of people demanding blood unvaccinated donors.
The dilemma of course is while they focus on blood very few people seem to understand that donated blood is fractionated. And some of the products pooled. Are they going to make the same argument about FFP, Cryo, or platelets?
In my judgment articles these seem to demonstrate that people think blood products for transfusion are not what they think. There is very little analysis but maximum assumptions. It is what it is.
Oh dear - there you are again - bringing facts and reality into the conversation - things for which there is little interest among some.
Your post makes little sense. You do realize banked blood is only good for a short amount of time. And that a family and circle of people will likely have histocompatobility issues and antibody issues? I have no problem with what you are attempting but the risks of what you are doing seem much higher than the theoretical risks (which are. If being seen) in the general blood donor pool.
