Attack On Europe: Documenting Russian Equipment Losses During The 2022 Russian Invasion Of Ukraine

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it is not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

“U.K. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is in the Latvian capital of Riga to meet with other members of the Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF), a U.K.-led alliance of European militaries that share tactical knowledge and conduct joint training exercises to increase interoperability.

He is set to announce a new artillery package for Ukraine and urge other member nations to continue their support for Ukraine. He will meet British troops in neighboring Estonia later in the day.”

“UK to provide Ukraine with $304 million in military aid. The U.K. will deliver “hundreds of thousands of rounds of artillery ammunition” to Ukraine in 2023 under a new contract, and “will ensure a constant flow of critical artillery ammunition to Ukraine.””

“The Russian ruble plunged to a more than six-month low against the dollar Monday, as low oil prices and mounting sanctions fears threatened to hit the country’s export revenues.

The rouble was 2.4% weaker against the dollar, trading at 66.22 as of around 9:00 GMT Monday. The dip marks the rouble’s lowest level since May 30.”

Nothing to see here, go away.

“Police and security guards were stationed outside a Beijing crematorium reportedly designated to handle Covid fatalities, as questions over China’s virus death toll mount.

Guards pushed journalists to the back of the Beijing Dongjiao Funeral Parlor’s parking lot on Monday, as a line of about a dozen black minivans entered the site on Beijing’s eastern outskirts, used to prepare and process bodies for cremation. The vans appeared to be dropping off bodies and were surrounded at one point by what seemed to be mourners or relatives.

The crematorium has drawn scrutiny after workers told foreign media including the Financial Times and the Wall Street Journal that they were overwhelmed with bodies since China scrapped most Covid restrictions and Beijing experienced a surge in cases. That contrasts with the official virus death count, which saw just two Covid fatalities recorded for Beijing this weekend, the first in almost a month.”

They voted for Orban...

“Orban’s Food Price Caps Backfire for Hungarian Holiday Shoppers

Shops limit food staple purchases after government caps prices

Hungarians enduring the worst inflation in the European Union”

“A plan to shield Hungarians from the European Union’s highest inflation before the holidays has backfired, with retailers rationing staple foods in a throwback to the nation’s communist past.

Following a move by Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s government to cap prices on pantry basics, retailer Aldi is limiting shoppers to buying only 1 kilogram (2.2 pounds) of potatoes and a single liter of milk per visit due to a surge in demand.

Other grocery chains such as Spar, Lidl and Tesco have introduced similar restrictions. That’s leading some to wonder how they’ll bake the traditional ‘bejgli,’ a Christmas pastry fixture on Hungarian tables usually filled with poppy-seeds or walnuts.

“I came here because my neighbor said there’s milk now,” said Magdolna, 67, who was shopping at an Aldi in Budapest. “Usually there isn’t any and I haven’t seen eggs in a while. I don’t know how I’ll bake for Christmas.” “

Forbes has published an article attempting to dismiss concerns over extremism among the ranks of Ukraine’s armed forces as Russian propaganda, but admits that it had been a problem that Ukraine has since “fixed.”

Unfortunately, a screenshot included in the article is from a video that proves exactly the opposite - that extremism in Ukraine’s armed forces is worse than ever and openly benefiting from Western weapons and equipment flooding the country.

The many references to articles in the Western media about Ukraine's neo-Nazi problem at link.

“The U.K. will… ensure a constant flow of critical artillery ammunition to Ukraine.”

That is kind of the bottom line to this conflict - continued Western support means Russian defeat. There are several other nations that can also do this, each of which had a bigger GDP than Russia before sanctions. Others that can’t produce, can still chip in to buy more rounds.

Putin has screwed Russia bigly.

When it comes to funding a war that will enrich them, their commitment is for “as long as it takes.”

Congress has $68 billion in taxpayer funds for overall aid for Ukraine just this year alone and could pass tens of billions more before the year’s end. Biden has asked Congress for $38 billion more (coincidentally, $38 billion is the amount of money Zelensky recently requested to fulfill his 2023 budget deficit). Even when the GOP controls the House expect very little change. It must be remembered that the fund being dispatched have tracking or transparency measures.

The U.S. and its allies have procured around $50 billion worth of U.S. weaponry in the past last year; of this amount, the U.S. taxpayer funded $19.3 billion just for Ukraine.

All of this is occurring while the U.S. going through myriad serious crises such as high inflation, high gas prices, a fragile economy, a crime wave, a drug crisis, and an uncontrolled influx of illegal aliens — all of this is owing to Biden’s misgovernance.

Ukrainian officials claim that nearly 20,000 foreign volunteers have signed up to fight alongside Ukrainian forces against the Russian invasion. What if some of the unvetted mercenaries have links to terror groups? They could sell this weaponry on the black market. (In fact, they already are — American arms from Ukraine are beginning to “filter” into Africa, to ISIS and Boko Haram.) They could use it to attack American interests either on foreign soil or in the U.S. itself.

But the powers that be have no interest in what happens within the U.S. because there is little to gain from it.

This is exactly what Eisenhower warned about in 1961.

In sappyintexas’s deranged, sadistic, world supporting Nazi’s is a “conservative value” and a “patriotic duty”. This compels him and others like him to provide a daily stream of idiotic fake news.

It dismays him that Russia is killing all of them.

The reality of neo-Nazis in Ukraine is far from Kremlin propaganda

https://thehill.com/opinion/international/359609-the-reality-of-neo-nazis-in-the-ukraine-is-far-from-kremlin-propaganda/

“Azov’s neo-Nazi character has been covered by the New York Times, the Guardian, the BBC, the Telegraph and Reuters, among others. On-the-ground journalists from established Western media outlets have written of witnessing SS runes, swastikas, torchlight marches, and Nazi salutes. They interviewed Azov soldiers who readily acknowledged being neo-Nazis. They filed these reports under unambiguous headlines such as “How many neo-Nazis is the U.S. backing in Ukraine?” and “Volunteer Ukrainian unit includes Nazis.”

Hopefully, not just artillery ammunition.

“Even when the GOP controls the House expect very little change”. (Military support to the Ukraine)

This means that Russia will lose.

All across the free world, Defense budgets are increasing ahead of inflation, and production contracts are being awarded. Several sleeping giants have been awakened - each of which have GDPs bigger than Russia’s before sanctions, and each of which produces weaponry far superior to the Russians.

Putin has squandered Russia’s respected place in the world, and amassed a host of mighty enemies.

After he has burned through the huge stockpiles left over from the Soviet Union, it is a ridiculous mismatch between the production capacity of the free nations, and the shouldering remnants of Russia’s economy.

“Hopefully, not just artillery ammunition”

..and not just the Brits.

NATO officially called on members to ramp up their Defense industrial bases and increase production months ago, and it has been working its way through the budgeting and contracting systems of many countries - even beyond NATO, to include Japan, South Korea and Australia.

Orders are up big time for many systems - F-35s, Javelins, HIMARS, NASAMS, etc., etc..

A multi-year armament drive has kicked off. Putin is the salesman of the century.

Not much info on the Aim-260; but, hopefully, the missile is fielded and in full production.
