Harvard med school class focuses on LGBTQIA+ ‘infants’

Harvard Medical School students can learn about how to provide healthcare to “infants” who are LGBTQIA+, according to a course catalog description.

“Caring for Patients with Diverse Sexual Orientations, Gender Identities, and Sex Development,” a regularly available med school course, promises to give students a chance to work with “patients [who] identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex or asexual.”

“Clinical exposure and education will focus on serving gender and sexual minority people across the lifespan, from infants to older adults,” according to the course description.

Students in the course may also “engage in a mentored scholarly endeavor” such as “advocacy, quality improvement, medical education, original research, or public health project.”

The College Fix asked Harvard Medical School via email what advocacy opportunities the course offers, how students are taught to treat patients with gender dysphoria, and if that includes counseling and how medical experts know if an infant is LGBT. The school did not respond to three inquiries sent in the past two weeks.

Of all that gibberish gender identity stuff only intersex is a biological birth circumstance. My experiences with young adult transgenders is they are fantasy prone and desperate to find a new identity and fit in. They’ll react to peer and activist pressure. Those I’ve known best were all horribly abused. I’ve often felt they were trying to heal or cope by killing the self that was the victim. I had a coworker who has always described himself as a women trapped in a man’s body and he was effusively happy about his biological reality. He did not want to transition. Not sure what changed. He’s probably in his late fifties now but his grandmother did pass. He was horribly abused as well and attracted to thuggish men. He even waited for one to get out of prison because they were going to get married. The marriage didn’t happen, the relationship was a disaster once the guy was released. It’s sad to see people lead down crazy paths rather than given support and an opportunity to heal and love themselves as they are.

It’s all part of the new Leftist fascism and identity politics.

Interesting. It’s a dangerous avenue to research since we’ve moved from science to civil rights leaving behind opportunities to dig deeply and help people understand themselves and heal. None of this should be forbidden including reparative therapy investigations and yet a grown gay man can’t decide he wants to investigate that behavioral therapy but we’re not supposed to be OK with genital mutilation of children because they claim to feel like another gender. Can’t reconcile the two without realizing the end game isn’t helping the person. It’s about control and manipulation under the big lie of freedom and support. The Left works hard to sort people into different plantations so they can exploit others.

I heard recently about a middle school , which had a number of girls who identified as transgender.

It sure makes you wonder where do they get such ideas? And it makes you wonder if all this talk of LGBT has made it seem as if the cool kids are LGBT? They definitely seem to be treated as special nowadays.
