To seize further control of people’s lives, Globalists are pushing the false idea that these cities will “save the planet” and help all of humanity.
Fifteen-minute cities are popping up everywhere, and the World Economic Forum is wildly enthusiastic about them. Last year it was announced that Paris, France, would become a 15-minute city, and now the British city of Oxford is next. However, outraged Brits are fighting back.
As reported previously at RAIR Foundation USA, the city council has announced that it will divide Oxford into 15-minute neighborhoods or small 15-minute towns billed as “greener, cleaner and safer.” To further seize control of people’s lives, Globalists are pushing the false idea that these “green” cities, which make services accessible to residents within 15 minutes of their homes, will “save the planet” and help all humanity.
Instead, they are nothing more than a way for them to restrict, coerce, fine, punish, surveil, and limit the fundamental right of freedom of movement for residents. For example, residents are not allowed to leave your 15-minute city by car more than the allotted times a year. Otherwise, you will be fined. In addition, the government will track and control your every movement through your smartphones & facial recognition technology.

Isn’t that what “small town America” used to be?
I think it worked pretty well, with very little assist from national govt.
Great time to explain to the brits the real reason for having guns in this country.
Note, brits can get shotguns.
Urban Elites rediscover villages.
Big News.
“For example, residents are not allowed to leave your 15-minute city by car more than the allotted times a year.”
Is there any actual evidence of this or is it just the author speculating?
They’re is no way this could work in the USA.
Ever since the end of WWII local, state and Federal government has done everything they can to move people further and further out into the suburbs.
Of course now they want to reverse this whole trend they themselves have pushed for decades. And they want to do it in 10-12 years.
It can’t be done. Especially when we’re essentially broke.
Stalin’s wet dream.
Vaccine mandates are just an example of how they can enforce this.
CBDC will cripple the naysayers.
Oxford agreed to this crap?

No, I believe I posted an article on this issue last month. There actually is, as part of the policy, restrictions and financial charges (and permission required), to travel in excess of the number of times and miles allowed. You will be tracked by camera and license number and you must apply in advance should you need to travel more times than allowed outside your designated community. Their reasoning is that they will make everything you really need (not much leeway for ‘wants’) within 15 minutes or a certain number of miles, from your home.
I’m glad to hear that some Brits are pushing back.
Yeah, communities of old did this by necessity and lack of methods for quick, easy, and safe travel. Not by force of the government. There is a big difference.
“I think it worked pretty well, with very little assist from national govt.”
That’s the irony, isn’t it? Get the GD government out of our lives and we get along just fine.
There isn’t anything the GD government is incapable of thoroughly forking up.
Can you imagine the busybody Karen who actually put that stupid cartoon together?
Where’s the gas stove? Shouldn’t it be in the “Home”?
Meanwhile....this protest is going on where my kid was born.
People have had ENOUGH!!!!
If you are a farmer or rancher. They give this exception so the farmer or rancher can kill vermin on their land. Hunters also but the restrictions on such are numerous. I lived in England years ago and was an avid shooter here in the USA. I wanted to just do target shooting in England. My next door neighbor was a cop. I asked him what I needed to do? He said, "you must join a shooting club." That is expensive. Once in the shooting club you will apply for a permit to buy the firearm. That is expensive. If approved you will be allowed to buy the firearm and ammunition, which in England is much more expensive than the USA. You can not have the firearm in your home. It will be kept at the shooting club under lock and key. I said to him, "it is not worth the trouble and expense." He said, "that is the idea."
No. Now we have strip malls with multinational conglomerates providing “services”.
Residents are allowed to leave their 15-minute city a maximum of 100 times a year, but then they must first register their car, which is tracked throughout the city via smart cameras.
This will make East Berlin look like Texas or Florida. I'll bet that not even North Korea is that restrictive.
15 minutes wouldn’t even get me to the closest doggie park.
I never thought they would (or could) do a shutdown in this country, either.
I’d love to see a Gatling Shotgun...
