When terrible events occur on a national level, Presidents are expected to take an interest and address the country. That is unless you're Joe Biden. Biden harps on the environment all the time, telling us how wonderful are the things he's doing with his climate change bill. Yet he's nowhere to be seen when a true ecological disaster unfolds in Ohio.
His identity politics choice for Secretary of Transportation, Petey Buttigieg, is also AWOL. He, like pretty much all of Biden's cabinet, is becoming a political liability.
"His problem has been from the beginning, no matter the controversy, that he's late to the situation," said Marc Clauson, a professor at Cedarville University in Ohio. "It's almost as if he's waiting to see how the political winds are blowing before he says anything."Buttigieg never seems to show up for anything related to his job.
On multiple occasions, he has been accused of failing to properly address issues, being more focused on a potential future presidential bid and being absent.
"What’s happening with the railroads, airlines & the supply chain is a result of a small city mayor being made the Secretary of Transportation as a means to pad his resume for President," Nina Turner, a senior fellow at the left-wing Institute on Race, Power and Political Economy, tweeted on Tuesday.

When Buttigieg finally did open his mouth it was to blame Trump. Where did my $1.7 trillion infrastructure money go? Biden is proving that diversity over talent is a loser.
Biden has spoken with Xi Jinping 5 times since 2021 but not once has he brought up the origins of COVID.The democrat-controlled government from 22021-2023 has not held a single hearing into the origins of COVID. Not one.
It's almost as if they don't want us to know.
What Biden is doing is constantly lying- about Republicans and about the economy. Biden speaks the words, but one wonders if he's lying on his own or Victoria Nuland and Susan Rice are feeding him the lies to be repeated.

Biden was always “Nowhere man”, and no clue man, and no class man, and no brain man…
As has been said, Buttigieg is so bad at his job that people know who the Secretary of Transportation is.
