This is as silly as when they write: “The White House says…” regarding Biden..
As though they are completely different entities..
Ummm… last I heard, Congress IS “government”.
I’d bet a LOT of them are the clients that all those kids are trafficked for.

Congress is only one third of the govt and it’s one of two that are mostly paralyzed from doing anything.
It’s the executive branch that acts. They’re supposed to follow the laws as passed by Congress thereby reigning them in... unfortunately, the executive branch does what it wants ignoring the laws they don’t like without fear as the other two branches lack any real teeth
