World's Largest Baptist University Hosts 'Queer Sex Ed' Night

Society is in an aggressive state of change, and that includes the arena of Christian education.

Baylor University is the world’s largest Baptist college. The 16,000-student institution was founded in 1845, making it the oldest perpetually-operating university in Texas. Even so, don’t assume it’s old-fashioned.

On March 23rd, the school hosted an event certifying its contemporary credentials. As advertised on Instagram, the extravaganza was called “Queer Sex Ed.” An accompanying caption read, “Secret is out. See you tomorrow!! You can still DM us to become a member and join our Queer Sex Ed!!!”

The ad didn’t detail what was involved, but featured in the post was the Planned Parenthood logo.

Is Baylor really Baptist? I mean, does it adhere to Baptist theology and doctrine and principles?

It Baylor Baptist, sort of like Georgetown is Catholic? Meaning it was founded by a religious denomination, but is no longer following the religious principles?

I read an interesting view about the Holocaust. Basically, it came to the point that the reason why God allowed to happen is most Jews left Judaism and left God’s protection for them, because they were mostly secular.

I sense the same thing about America and that means a disaster that will be on par will be on the way, because we are putting ourselves outside God’s protection by becoming secular.

Can’t speak to the situation at US Universities, but here in Canaduh, AFAIK, ALL Universities receive gubmint money so, must follow the gubmint line.

This is example one million of institutional cowardice. Because I’m guessing one nut/radical/pervert (take your pick) at a meeting suggested this. Everyone else present is afraid to object for fear of being called a hater.

And so we have Queer Sex Ed night.

Speaking as a non-Baptist, if you can’t count on a Baptist to do the right thing, who can you count on?

I recall going to a class called PE. They taught us how to be fit, exercised us as a group, and we had loads of fun. It was always my favorite class.

I wonder if Perv SE is like that? I bet it is interesting, enlightening, “The Eye of Sauron” watches intently, even gleefully.

I’m Baylor ‘86 and this utterly sickens me. So much has changed since I attended.

“Society is in an aggressive state of change”

IF by that they mean that civilization has collapsed overnight, then yeah.

I’m all for Universities (and HS) having ‘Queer Sex Ed’ Nights.

The message that SHOULD be sent at these events is, homosexuality is WRONG Biblically, morally, emotionally, mentally, biologically and health wise.

Will this happen? Oh heck no! Paul writes that each one of us is as depraved as each one of us can be. As we, as a society, drift farther from His word, the ‘limits’/’boundaries’ of such depravity expand.

The good news (terrible news for many, unfortunately) is that Jesus is coming soon! The bad news is, AFA sin and depravity, we ‘ain’t seen nothin’ yet!

MARANATHA!

You are part of the way there. The Israeli people are scattered. The few are in current day Israel. It is we people of the West. Western European nations like the British Empire, plus America. I know that this is thoroughly debunked by “experts”. It is nevertheless true. We have lost our memory. Even in the 18th Century we knew of our roots. Even the Spanish people are a part of it. We call them Mexicans now, and the people are re-forming. Unless we return to the Torah, we too will be trodden under. Time is really short. Educate yourself, return to the keeping of Torah(Law). Even the NT tells us to remain faithful, and keep the commandments. Modern day preachers tell us that all we have to do is Believe on Jesus, and we are saved. They leave out the part that says Sin no more. Sin is literally disobeying the Law (Torah). That includes Sabbath worship not Sunday.

If this message finds fertile minds, Praise Yehovah. If you want to go to Heaven, study the entire Bible. Quit waiting for a secret Rapture. Jesus was in the Beginning, and will be at the end. The only thing you have to lose, is the fantasy of missing the Tribulations. If I am wrong, you will be gone, but a bit more educated.

What Germany did to the Jews, will happen to us, unless we repent and dedicate ourselves to The Law.

Isn’t it odd that they named this event ...Sex ed Night...
Sex? Why not “Gender ed” night? It is clearly not about sex ed but about alphabet soup education. Why did they use the word sex? They are inadvertently pointing out the fact that there are only two sexes. Not sure if I verbalized this coherently, sorry.

The fundamentalist-modernist fight went on almost a century ago and Baylor came out modernist as a lot of other Southern Baptist schools did.

In the 1970’s the conservatives came to power in the SBC and gained some power over theological seminaries where folks like Rick Warren and Mike Huckabee went to school.
