UN Summit: AI Robots Say They Could Run The World Better Than Humans
PatriotandLiberty ^ | 7/10/23 | VIA SCMP

The United Nations views AI as essential to accomplishing its 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Why? Because AI can run the world more “efficiently” and autocratically than humans. With AI, enforcement of SDGs would be “standardized” for all, and would thoroughly dispassionate. Technocracy thrives on data, and there is no such things as too much. ⁃ TN Editor

A panel of AI-enabled humanoid robots told a United Nations summit on Friday that they could eventually run the world better than humans.

This is crap. AI has always existed. Its better now and will get better. But right now it can’t drive a car. This whole thing is to have the government get access to all code. We have AI in everything. The government wants access to every piece of software like they had access to all communication and censorship. And like with the cell phones they have access to your location at all times.

the soapy sponge in my kitchen could run America better than Brandon so maybe a pile of silicone could run the world better than the folks that are running it into the ground now.

Most 10 yr olds believe the same thing. All teens know they could do better.

AI as it stands in a world run by it will not be standalone. It will have at its controls the elites of the world (think Bilderberg, UN, NATO, FED, MSM, etc).

AI can’t even tell you the chronological order of ‘Star Wars’ movies

“A panel of AI-enabled humanoid robots told a United Nations summit on Friday that they could eventually run the world better than humans.“

Since the UN wants to rule the world, when will it ban AI? Probably too late as AI will figure out how to outsmart them and politicians before they realize that they have lost control.

Stop thinking of AI as it appears in movies.

--- "Because AI can run the world more 'efficiently' and autocratically than humans."

There in NOT a single Large Language Model which is not programmed by humans, complete with human bias. Those working in private companies as those working open source to program AI variants are the responsible parties asserting this.

AI does NOTHING without human "running" of it. The rest is a scam.

The famed man behind the curtain has just chosen a different curtain behind which to hide. After all. snake oil salesmen can't sell the same garbage to the suckers and rubes a second and third time. Rebranding. It's what's for dinner.....

I should probably get an understanding of AI. They claim that Chatgpt is AI, others say it isn’t. (I don’t understand that Chatgpt thing either.) But as far as my limited brain can comprehend Chatgpt it just uses information that is already on the internet to formulate an answer for the questioner.

In that sense, I think the various web searchers ALREADY “run the world” in some sense as they tailor the searches to the user’s past history - and, even worse, seem to skew the results to more liberal results/sites.

If I try to find a quote from Trump about something, most of the results are negative about Trump instead of the positive quote I’m trying to find. Although I guess that is also a result of what quotes get the most hits - so then it is just reinforcing the herd mentality which isn’t good either.

It is getting more and more difficult to find good information about transgender issues as it seems to be taken over by pro-trans responses.

Or maybe I just need to change my browser!

I think this is hard to argue against.

In fact, a toaster oven chip like the MC9S08QD2 made by NXP could do a better job running the free world than Biden does.

“Do not arm AI bots with lasers and we should be alright.”

At some point they could build lasers and other weapons and arm themselves.
