The Senate will not vote to remove them.
It's not even a certainty that Republicans in the House are willing to vote to win an impeachment vote, at least at this point.
Talk of impeachment just angers Democrats and Independents and makes the process look political to the moronic majority.
Impeachment will not happen until a majority of voters are literally demanding impeachment and removal.
We are not at that point and we will not be at that point until the spring of 2024 - it takes that long to shift public opinion to the point where impeachment is a viable option and not political suicide in the 2024 election. At that point, it may be better to just let them twist in the wind during the 2024 election season.
Well said!
The Democrats voted twice to impeach Trump yet they knew he wasn’t going t be removed. Why did they think it was a wise move?
How come it isn’t a wise move for the GOP?
Overthinking this stuff until you talk yourself out of not doing the right thing.
And actually not doing anything.
If they don’t impeach this guy, the House is saying “We don’t think he did anything wrong.”
They have validated his corruption.
Who cares what the Senate does, or who the Democrat nominee is ? Play it straight with no tricks ! Do the right thing, and let the chips fall !
(BTW, Gore was defeated after Clinton was impeached. And distancing/not distancing from Clinton was an issue in the campaign)
“From a practical perspective, there is no way that either Joe Biden or Merrick Garland are going to be removed from office.
The Senate will not vote to remove them.”
That kind of thinking is why democrats win and Republicans lose. Always looking for a reason not to fight.
Yes. All this agitation is pointless. Impeachment isn't coming tomorrow. It will take a lot for it to happen at all.
Unless Nancy Pelosi is Speaker.
