Really... who in their right mind thought Mick Jagger would live to be 80?!? đ

I understand the Stones no longer play âUnder My Thumbâ in concert b/c reasons - someone, somewhere might get his/her feelings hurt or feel offended.Yeah, a GREAT but sexist hit. Probably autobiographical, too. But then, when is the last time a rap "artist" was banned for poor taste in lyrics?

Gimme Shelter is, arguably, the greatest Rock and/or Roll song ever recorded.
Merry Clayton’s vocal solo is extraordinary...and tragic. At one point, Mick can be heard exclaiming “Woah” as he was blown away with her performance.
IIRC, she has the only female solo on any Stones’ track.

Mick has taken pretty good of himself since the 70s.

Far Away Eyes
I was driving home early Sunday morning through Bakersfield
Listening to gospel music on the colored radio station
And the preacher said, you know you always have the Lord by your side
And I was so pleased to be informed of this that I ran
Twenty red lights in his honor
Thank you Jesus, thank you Lord

The extended instrumentals at the endings of these songs show some rare ability.

I’ve been walking Central Park
Singin’ after dark
People think I’m craaaaazy
Stumbling on my feet
Shuffling through the street
Asking people, “What’s the matter with you, boy?...”

I think that song has been in every Martin Scorcese movie ever made.

Brown Sugar.
Rip this Joint.
Most of the rest of them, with a few exceptions are great R&R.

I liked “One Hit To The Body”. Jimmy Page plays on it.

Iâd add âWild Horses.â The Sundays did a great cover of that song.
