Stop Using the Words "Trump Tried to Overturn the 2020 Election"; It Is Akin to Asking "When Did You Stop Beating Your Wife?"

Why do conservative media feel the need to kowtow to the Democrat Party's biased and partisan (not to mention self-serving and … hateful) rhetoric? Have the many troubling events of election night already been forgotten? Once and for all, fellow journalists and fellow citizens, conservative and liberal alike (although I hardly expect the latter to follow this piece of — friendly — advice), stop saying "Trump tried to overturn the 2020 election" and stop referring to "the election that Trump lost", to "Trump's defeat", to "Trump tried to change the results", and to "false claims".

The way that even conservative outlets like Fox News and the Wall Street Journal, not to mention RINOs like Mike Pence, buy into and repeat the drama queens' (the leftists' and the mainstream media's) "talking points" (not to call those double standards a language of hate) is unconscionable and deeply troubling (see Tuesday's WSJ editorial defending Donald Trump while calling his "post-election behavior" in 2020 "deceitful and destructive" and referring to his "disgraceful" "malfeasance".)

As for National Review (thanks to Glenn Reynolds), which also attacks the Trump indictment, the magazine feels the need to point point out that it "condemned Trump’s appalling actions in the aftermath of the 2020 election" as well as "Trump’s deceptions": "Mendacious rhetoric in seeking to retain political office is damnable." (Thanks for the hyperlink, Sarah Hoyt.)

Meanwhile, Joe Biden's — far worse — shenanigans, both as senator and as occupant of the White House, are duly opposed but never with such vitriolic wording. The opposition is quite restrained and, even if principled, almost of the "Ho-hum" variety (rarely, if ever, loaded ded words like "disgraceful" or "malfeasance").

Again: Why do conservative media feel the need to kowtow to the Democrat Party's biased and partisan ... rhetoric? ...

• Does it make sense, how conceivable is it, that an elderly politician with nary a history of a gift for gab or one of national popularity (unlike, say, deservedly or not, Ted Kennedy) would not only beat the Republican Party's rock star (Donald Trump) in votes, but also the Democrat Party's rock star (Barack Obama) — especially since his (rare) campaign speeches and (rare) campaign appearances hardly attracted any significant number of individuals, let alone crowds, and since, indeed (upon the strange advice of VIPs like Nancy Pelosi), he hardly left his basement to campaign?

• One of the main reasons many of us are skeptical do not pertain to the (long) list of evidence which follows below, but to the very fact that the mainstream media has been trying to stifle all debate on the subject, and that from the earliest hours of November 4, 2020. It simply won't do to simply repeat that it is a lie (or "the big lie") and a "baseless" or an "unfounded" claim without giving, at least once in a while, some evidence thereof. Actually, no, scratch that. Just giving one in-depth single article or news story would be enough, and the New York Times and the Washington Post could refer to it by linking the word "unfounded" or "lie" to it in every every other subsequent news story, but that "ur-article" does not seem to exist in any editorial office.

“Overturn”. More like Legally count the votes and offer a fair election for the people, by the people.

It’s never been proven that “Trump tried to overturn any election.” That’s just far left, “media” gibberish created by the RAT Party and spewed by their “media”. Pablum for the little folks. A propaganda narrative for the ignorant and gullible.

Repeal the 17th Amendment!
State legislatures couldn’t do worse, particularly in South Carolina!

"Again: Why do conservative media feel the need to kowtow to the Democrat Party's biased and partisan ... rhetoric? ..."

Because the narrative helps (enter 'their guy' here). And it is to the detriment to the country as a whole.

They are no different than Pence in the Tucker Carlson interview where Carlsin asked:

“I know you’re running for president. You are distressed the Ukrainians don’t have enough American tanks. Every city in the United States has become much worse over the past three years. Drive around. There is not one city that has gotten better in the United States. And it’s visible.”

And yet you’re concern is that the Ukrainians, a country that most people can’t find on a map, who have received tens of billions of U.S. tax dollars, don’t have enough tanks, I think it’s fair to ask, where’s the concern for the United States in that?”

Pence's immediate response: "Well, it’s not my concern."

They think they can damage Trump by going along with the narrative, and either through idiocy, or being too clever by half, think the gravy train will keep on with Trump (really, its MAGA, Trump just happens to be the most visible champion) out of the way.

Don’t forget the FBI tried to overturn the 2016 election.

Exactly! *NEVER* accept the lying premise of your enemy.

The Trump position would be to *STOP* the overturn of a valid election through vote fraud.

It is the Democrats who overturned the election.

There was no legitimate election to overturn. I have never entertained a single premise of legitimacy in regard to the current, fraudulent regime.

This is exactly correct. THESE are the liars that deliberately spread false and misleading stories to manipulate voters, and these are also the people who deliberately cover up stories that would provide crucial information to the voters.

The *MEDIA* is a weapon the corruption party uses to manipulate elections. It is way past time we either destroyed it, or took it over and turned it's power back against the evil party.

We long ago should have been doing everything we could to wipe out the media liars. Destroy their financials, put fear of physical assault into their minds, and force them out of control of the mass communications systems of this nation.

We should have gone World War III on everyone associated with the media lie system.

*THEY* are the primary enemy we must fight. Without them, the Democrats are helpless.

Trump Challenged Widespread Vote and Ballot Fraud resulting primarily from Illegal and Unconstitutional Changes to States voting laws whose result was large enough to Change the Electoral College Results.

They get to pick the words they use, the media is corrupt.

When he says, “Find me x,xxx votes, that is just semantics. What it means is find enough fraudulent or other ballots we can legally throw out so that I ca make u the x,xxx deficit. This is very common in ALL elections. In fact Claudia Tenney won because she “found” a few hundred ballots were improper and could be thrown out thus “finding” a 100 votes swing.

It may if every household in America received stamped envelopes with multiple ballots. In the past you had to request a ballot. Just check the box and put them in your mailbox.

I’d like to know how many voted for the first time or for the first time in a long long time.

I agree, but they know what theyre saying. If they wanted to be proper, neutral, reporters they’d say, “Trump challenged the election results” or “Trump contested the election results” or even, “Trump threw the BS flag on corrupt elections”
