August 5, 2023: an attrmpted lynching. In the Binyamin area, dozens of "Palestinian" Arab rioters from the village of Burqa [بُرقه] attack a group of Jews with stones, clubs and fireworks. One of the Jews who felt his life was in danger opened fire and one Arab attacker Kosai Ma'atan [قصي معطان] died.*
It started when a Jewish shepherd who left Givat 'Oz Zion' was grazing the flock at a distance of about 500-700 meters from the outskirts of the village of Burka. Several Arabs approached him and threatened him to stay away. At this point the shepherd called several friends who came to stay with him to prevent deterioration. That's when hundreds of Arab rioters came down from Burka armed with clubs, fireworks and rocks and began to attack the settlers in a severe and life-threatening manner. A confrontation developed there between the Arab rioters and the settlers who called for help in view of the tangible danger they were in.*
Despite the facts, during a court hearing for the extension of the detention of two settlers, it was revealed that the police and the Shin Bet did not arrest or investigate any Arab rioters. * all the while, the Israeli-Arab judge Mohamad Haj Yahya [محمد حاج يحيى] extended the detention of the Jews who were attacked.*.
Preferential treatment happens a lot there.

I work with someone of Turkish and ‘Palestinian’ descent. She’s very nice, but, man, does she hate Israel.
As someone who had no particular ties to either party, genetically speaking, it seems to me that the Arabs are mad that they lost a war and won’t let it go, so they just keep right on causing carnage. That they downright hate Jews adds fuel thanks to having been defeated by them.
My coworker made some commentary about being dragged from one’s home and having it given to someone else. I thought, “Maybe if they didn’t use civilians to shelter violent criminals and their weapons, things wouldn’t be so bad,” but for the sake of workplace peace, I didn’t comment.
