Good analysis. There was a story out at the same time about a woman who saw movement in her yard where her husband was. She called him back into the house and got her handgun, and shot it to protect her husband from possible robbers. Is this that same couple? No reference to gunshots coming FROM the house. But it fits the description of ‘several shots fired’ before the Feds returned fire.
