Had to go through Chicago O'Hare airport a couple weeks ago.
As usual, the TSA line was very long and snaked through the terminal. It was at least 45 minutes to get to the gates.
I can't count how many entitled Americans pushed through the long line, saying: "I'm late for my flight!" But it wasn't just Americans - Chicago also seems to be a hub for immigrants, who push through without saying even a "sorry" at all.
It got out of hand, and finally a TSA dominatrix picked two central American guys out of the line and gave them a loud, public dressing down, telling them to arrive to the airport early, like everyone else. They couldn't understand a word she was saying, but it was enjoyable for the rest of us.
I avoid O’Hare like the plague. It’s always a connection hub for me and I’ve had way too many instances where I can barely make it from one gate to the next...even after giving myself more time. Always seems chaotic.
