Documents that were labeled “top secret” in Arabic were discovered on the bodies of dead Hamas terrorists this week after they launched an unprecedented terrorist attack against Israel.
The documents showed that the detailed plans Palestinian terrorists were given ordered them to “target elementary schools and a youth center” in Kfar Sa’ad, a kibbutz in Israel, and to “kill as many people as possible.”
The documents also ordered the soldiers to take hostages and return back to Gaza as fast as possible. More than 1,300 Israelis were murdered, 3,000+ more were injured, and well over 100 hostages were taken.

Why would “foot soldiers” carry “detailed top secret” documents on their mission? Makes no sense.

In the US military I used “Top secret” documents daily.
Even at the rank of E-2. I used to program daily IFF codes for B-52 aircraft.
Plus I repaired the IFF transponders.
I was 19 years old.

I always thought it was us controllers, who told the pilots what to squawk, plus we didn’t use IFF. We used SIF. The only ones who used IFF, were the old world War 2 C-47s that came in. We hated it, since it didn’t work well at all.
What they squawked was what they dialed in for an ID
in mode 3 to let know who they are.
Mode 4 IFF is automatic and not under their control.
IFF stands for Identification Friend or Foe.
I guess they are up to mode 5 now.

In maintaining ATC radar circa 1970, I seem to recall our ground radar capable of both IFF/SIF but yeah, I never programed any codes for it. That was a long time ago though LOL.

Other reports have the ‘foot soldiers’ being given detailed orders only on the day of the operation, in order to protect secrecy. Prior to that, they were just trained in general activities, like storming walls and buildings. If that’s the case, then having this detail on their handouts might make sense.
Also possible is that Hamas is having a bit of trouble getting the word out regarding that they want ALL JEWS DEAD, as their Jewish supporters seem to just think it rhetoric. In fact, their Communications Department is having such a tough time in getting this message out, that even the Babylon Bee felt the need to report on it.

The reason for wanting the world to know EXACTLY where they stand on Israel is because they need support from the Muslim community at large...and this is how one gets support.
I used FPN-47 at Mountain Home. We used SIF exclusively. It did recognize IFF too. It just worked very poorly. I hated seeing the C-47s come in, cuz it was a beyotch trying to ID them.

Come on bro, I was an air traffic controller for 20 years. I know what it all means. You said SIF (selective identification feature) was for civilians. Not true. The F-4s and F-111s at Mountain Home had it. All the aircraft in Vietnam had it. By then, even the C-47s had it, even though it was only two digits, like 04. When I got to Laughlin, the T-38s had 4 digit codes, like 7500. We used only mode 3. I don’t even know what the other modes were used for. I didn’t much care. I only wanted to get them on the ground.
