Oh I know, my post was a reference to Behind Liberal Lines' well-known "City of Evil" designation for the city. I live and work in Ithaca, and have high regard for some aspects of Cornell, and indeed of Ithaca also.

But it's a hotbed of far-left, arch-liberal, progressive socialists.

Sadly, some of my friends, neighbors, and work associates fall into that category. I eschew political discussions.
