The Vice President is the safety mechanism for continuity of government in the event that something happens to the President.
Additionally, for the unique nature of the 2024 election, the VP pick technically becomes the 2028 MAGA candidate by default and general intention. Therefore, the selection of Trump’s running mate holds a greater weight of importance given the single term objective.
The primary factor of President Trump’s pick for VP should be, who will be the 2028 nominee.
Prior to President Trump’s first term in office, traditionally the role of the Vice-President, the actual tasks they are assigned to carry out, were generally ceremonial in nature. However, President Trump approached the VP role differently, and gave substantive policy initiatives to Vice President Mike Pence. [Pence proved he was not a good executive]

Michael Flynn
I’ll go for that.
“...only the shadow knows”
Speculative at best, like long term weather forecasts.
Great article and thank you for posting this. Ben Carson is the only logical person for vice president. He covers all the basics of what that position requires. Most important. He is extremely loyal to Trump. I am excited about the idea of him as VP
As important as good cabinet choices are, the level of the administrators has to be purged thoroughly, particularly in the military and the police agencies. The armed services and agencies such as the FBI are riddled with leftists dating from as far back as the Clinton administration, and advanced further by Obama and Biden.
Tom Fitton...
Rand Paul...
I think Rand Paul would be a good choice for the Office of National Intelligence. The Federal police and intelligence agencies need a thorough cleansing of anti-American elements. Not only should the top appointees in these agencies be committed to limited government and the impartial enforcement of the law but they also must clean out the top administrative ranks which are filled with leftist administrators appointed by the last three Democrat presidents.
Elise Stefanik, please.
Only by extreme unwarranted grace of God will be get SD’s vision of the next administration.
That said, where is Ric Grinell on Ukraine? If Neocon maybe Vivek or Flynn for State and Defense.

“CIA Director: Robert Kennedy Jr”
????????????????
Absolutely not.
Y’all just keep dreamin’.
Brilliant outside the box thinking. She is good. The anti-Nikki Haley.
Not sure about this one either. Defense Secretary: Vivek Ramaswamy I like him but not as defense secretary.
I hope he doesn’t fill any positions with members of the US Senate.
Jeff Sessions was a debacle, and we lost his seat. We considered Alabama to be a safe seat, too.
He has to choose between a bunch of people, and I tend to think that he learned a lot from some of his past mistakes.
Choosing from people that have been in Washington for decades is generally not a good idea.
Agreed about VR.
Trump could use VRs experience in biotech and appoint him as a task force czar to prosecute the drug companies in re to their role in the Covid debacle. This experience could then be parlayed into going by after the big tech firms and media and their role in the propaganda crisis.
Who cares about VP. Who will be the AG? Right now AG holds more cards than the President.
I’d love Trump to nominate Mitch McConnell ambassador to China. 🤓
