A big part of every ancient naval port was a rope making works, usually hundreds of feet long. I think the mom & pop rope-makers were against it.
Since the globalist agenda includes reducing Earth’s population to 500 millions in the next twenty years, nothing good. Such numbers can only be achieved through mass murder.
Figures the Saudis would have all the Spice.
We’ve reached the point where there are simply not enough jobs for all the stupid people.
I work in the field of AI, machine learning, support vector machines. Things could get interesting.
“AI is just another scam by the left”
I had a chatGPT demonstration this past week with a former bigwig at MS and Google. I was asked to ask it some rather obscure questions, which I did. Every single answer was wrong.
There is no ‘thinking’ or creativity like natural intelligence. It simply compiles and collates existing ‘data’, much of which is wrong. Since there’s a very heavy left-wing/Marxist slant to much online topical data, the answers also come with that very same bias.
What happened in France in 1799? The elites seem to forget the concept of a “Social Contract”. Bad things happen when that Social Contract is broken...
We’ll all be considered “useless eaters”.
You become a useless eater.

If I didnt have to work 12 hrs a day, I’d go hunting!
If I wasn’t aware that they were going to cut off my oxygen when they replace, I’d probably go do something as well.
During the same time, there were many spectacular and expensive IT project failures, and the company was no doubt disappointed to find out that they still needed 8,000 people to function. And that number stayed steady until well after I was gone.
AI will be disruptive, but it isn't going to replace everybody. This time, rather than middle-aged guys posing as file cabinets being on the bubble, it's going to be the half-baked marketing, creative, and HR types who get shown the door, as AI can do their jobs far more effectively in a fraction of the time. But human thinkers will still be needed.
Not everybody can be a thinker. Some people will not find jobs as thinkers and they won’t be allowed to be labourers. What do they do?
These are the people that run the water, sewer, and electric grid. You sure don’t want to make them angry.
