Not at all. The Ukrainians are getting our castoff materiel. They haven’t received even one new weapons platform. Not one. They’re so far just getting things that had already been retired from active service or else slated for disposal/destruction.
Yet for some reason the Democrats and Republicans want the taxpayer to pay for these things as if they were new.

Not true. The US gave Ukraine 18 of its M777 UFH artillery howizters plus 40K rounds of shells in May of 2023. They are not 'cast offs.'
