He was especially turned on by the green alien dancer you must have a lousy memory
He appreciated many women, as a single man would do. We all knew he wasn't gay. See my last post about Roddenberry. You completely missed the plot about why Kirk was always falling in love with aliens, with whom he didn't have sex.

Not true.
In season 3, Kirk has amnesia on a planet with Indians, marries Miramanee who then gets pregnant. The natives stone her to death.

That's what I wrote, without giving her name. What did I write that was not true?

They brought in stars from the 1960’s for Captain Jerk to hump on!
All the old TV shows that were any good brought in known actors and actresses for shows. In three seasons Kirk was only known to have had sex with the woman he married. That was the code of the day as well. Kissing different women didn't mean he had sex with them. Mostly, Kirk is a tortured man whose obligations to his crew prevent him from having a relationship with a woman. He was married to his ship, except when he had amnesia. Then he got married. Again, Kirk's romances were designed by the creator, Gene Roddenberry, who was a lech.
Shatner played Kirk as directed. Criticisms of Shatner, mostly came from Takei, who accused him of stealing his lines to aggrandize the role of Kirk, and for being jealous of Nimoy getting more fan mail and hiding his bike in a tree as a prank. All and all, I don't see Shatner as such a bad guy, just a bit egotistical perhaps.

Sorry, I was wrong, you are correct. I read the part about the movie but missed the part about season three. I blame my phone bouncing around as the airplane I was on was descending to land.

I will add that in the one episode with the people who were accelerated and sped around the Enterprise, there was the scene with the blonde leader in Kirk's quarters where we see Kirk sitting on the edge of the bed putting his boots on.

-PJ All of which takes place in the context that Kirk must wed Deela to save his ship and crew, and sex is only implied:
From WP:
"Deela explains that Kirk has been placed in a state of hyperacceleration, rendering him invisible to the rest of his crew, in order to allow him to see and hear the Scalosians. When pressed as to why this has been done, Deela admits that she is the Scalosians' queen, and Kirk will become their king and enjoy life on Scalos. Kirk attempts to parley with Deela to stay with her on Scalos in return for having her people repair the Enterprise and release it with its crew, but she refuses his offer. "

Kirk may be viewed as a Sci Fi Oddyseus/Ulysess who is tempted by the Sirens, but heroically resists their spell and saves his ship. The woke crowd hates him for being unabashedly heterosexual.

But don't forget that Kirk also fell in love with Rayna in
Requiem for Methuselah and tried to convince her to leave Flint, before finding out that she was an android. So in this instance, he couldn't resist the Siren.
But then there was Edith Keeler, where Kirk did resist and let her die to save the future.
