There was an earlier thread that discussed March 19 as a bit of a deadline. I’m not sure if that was a paperwork deadline for potential candidates to get their name on state ballots, or perhaps a primary date by which point Joe will likely wrap up all the votes to lock in as the candidate.

I have been expecting the convention to choose a Joe replacement by acclamation — but you can’t get 100 million people to write in someone’s name. The Dems have to have ballots printed with their actual choice spelled out. Time is running out to switch.
