McConnell Smiles as President Trump Endorses Former HPSCI Deep State Chairman Mike Rogers as Michigan Senate Candidate
Conservative Treehouse ^ | March 11, 2024 | Sundance

Former House Intel Chairman Mike Rogers has picked up the endorsement of President Trump; essentially sealing his likelihood to win the Michigan senate primary. Unfortunately, Rogers is very connected to the Deep State intelligence community apparatus. Devin Nunes replaced Rogers after the Michigan representative retired from congress in ’14.

Mike Rogers together with Democrat Rep Dutch Ruppersberger, were infamous for generating the report that defended the CIA and Deep State during the Benghazi aftermath and protecting Hillary Clinton {GO DEEP}. 👀 CTH took apart the report that was created by Rogers and Ruppersberger without the other members of the intelligence committee participating.

Annoyingly, Rogers has a long history of helping to assist and create the national security “surveillance state.” SEE HERE and SEE HERE and SEE HERE. Perhaps he has changed in the decade since he was one of the primary advocates for the Deep State and the creation of the 4th branch of government; however, I doubt it.

I also doubt that President Trump was advised about the nature of Mike Rogers and his ideological outlook toward supporting the National Security state. Rogers has a life-long history of supporting the very institutional actors who targeted President Trump, so it’s a little hard to see him supporting President Trump in the second term.

I'm not liking this move by Trump. We need to find out who is advising him on his endorsements this time around.

Was this the man who went to Trump Tower to inform President Trump he was being spied on, way back during his first campaign?

You’d think Trump would at least ask Nunes his opinion.

The other ‘republican’ in the republican senate race that has a chance is justin amash, which is an even bigger nevertrumper than rogers is.

Trump is only picking the lesser of the evils for senate.

Would he have been expected to instead endorse the person who said this?

https://reason.com/2019/12/18/justin-amash-on-impeachment-republicans-are-betraying-the-principles-and-values-they-once-claimed-to-cherish/

“I rise today in support of these articles of impeachment,” he said on the House floor. “Not as a Democrat, not as a Republican, but as an American, who cares deeply about the Constitution, the rule of law, and the rights of the people.” The five-term congressman noted that the impeachment process should not be about “policy disagreements,” “ineffective governance,” or “criminality based on statutes that did not exist at the time our Constitution was written.” Instead, he said, it “is about maintaining the integrity of the office of the presidency and ensuring that executive power is directed toward proper ends in accordance with the law.”

“Conservatives will someday face the horrible truth that the Republican Party fought so hard to justify and excuse an amoral and self-serving president,” Amash tweeted last night, “and what he gave them in return was bigger government and erosion of the principles and values they once claimed to cherish.”

Sen Rand Paul says this a wrong endorsement by President Trump.

Rogers is a big time RINO.

Who is giving Trump this advice?

Nunes opinion is exactly the same as Trump's. He supports Rogers over insane Hamas fanboy Justin Amash:

Rogers, Nunes raise for Amash foe

Trump is also liking Lyndsey Graham again if I remember right. I love so much about Trump. But he also disappointing me very much at times. Not getting around it though. He is the only one with vision and guts enough to maybe save us.

We do not know that Nunes didn’t advise Trump. No info at all. Nunes is a bright guy and sharp as a tack.

“Who is giving Trump this advice?”

Okay - this is who the other guy was. Did you expect him to endorse him? Probably didn’t need to seek anyone’s advice - he remember this, no doubt.

Sen Rand Paul says this a wrong endorsement by President Trump.

Who does Paul think is the right endorsement in the race?

Amash the Trump impeacher?

Or Meijer the Trump impeacher?

In an interview last month, Nunes acidly described Amash as “Al Qaeda’s best friend in the Congress.”

If Nunes did advise him, it’s easy to guess what the advice would have been.

Would you rather he endorse another WEF fraud and con man like OZ and throw out any chance of winning the seat?

You aren’t going to get everything you want all at once, that’s not how the system works.

We are witnessing, in real time, a bloodless revolution.. the US system is set up to allow this, because the founders knew if you didn’t allow for it to happen bloodlessly it will happen through blood.... and bloodless revolutions require the movement to be sustained and long term to happen, it is intentionally designed to require long term ongoing support and motivations, not just a quick flash of anger or passion... whereas a bloody revolution can literally happen nearly overnight and be spurned by nothing but momentary passions that will cause harm for generations to come.

Bloodless revolutions are rarely linear, it takes a long sustained effort to happen.

Like it or not Rodgers was going to win the primary with or without Trump’s endorsement, he’s up 16 to 20 depending on the poll to his next closest rival. Trump could go in and endorse someone else, but it wouldn’t be enough to push them over the top.

Trump could have decided to endorse no one, but endorsing anyone other than the front runner in this race would be wasted political capital.

One step at a time, as I said, bloodless revolutions do not happen overnight.
