I had thought similar since, in Ukraine, being drafted is basically being sent to a ‘death machine’.
What will be left of Ukraine? No men, no skills, no resources to rebuild let alone police post war. No population left to extract taxes from, in essence, another Haiti? Depending on welfare for existence doesn’t bode well for it’s future.
Maybe the Chinese will be invited in to rebuild and work the fields? In any case, thousands of square miles of Ukie “ fertile” soil has now been polluted by dangerous HE chemicals and residue. UXO alone insures no farming for decades, and who is going to buy contaminated produce?

VERY strange Ukraine would conscript 59 year olds, but not those age 26? America did quite the opposite the last time this country had a draft: only those aged 19-22 or so need fear getting Shanghaied into the military. Those opposed jumped up and shouted, “Hell, no! We won’t go!” Which young American men (and women) should also do if that election stealing piece of **** currently in power tries to make them fight for the Democrat government...
