Yep, it made FAR MORE SENSE for Ukraine to try interfere with the Russian election, than to do it two weeks after Putin got a HUGE MANDATE to finish off the war.
As to this Ukrainian cell, they showed that they intended to try to make a getaway (as opposed to joining Allah), which would explain why they aborted on 3/8, when Russia was more than ready for that bunch to show up.

You have to see the domestic surveillance in the US. Literally, they built a machine bigger than the Stasi to take the nation over. Complete with civilians in every neighborhood spying on us, even using their own kids in the schools to build files on the kids there.
Once you see that, you realize you cannot judge things by your old metrics of what felt right. In talking to you, I should say US intel is out of control, because you might believe that.
But even that is not near accurate. From what I have seen, US intel has been completely taken over by a foreign, non-state, private sector intelligence organization, most likely funded by ultra-wealthy global elites from multiple nations, all of which are having their treasuries raided by these elites, who are pouring most of it back into their little intel op.
It is a mess. They seem to have not yet taken over Russia hence the friction with the Russian bear, which is resisting. But in the US, it is a mess.
It looks to be coming out, and when it does, I expect a major civil war, between old school Americans who were taught the myth of Constitutional Republic and the quislings who joined with this intel op to try and take it all over.
Just to give you an idea how bad it is, I have seen the surveillance. Zero chance 9/11 got by them unnoticed. It had to be allowed, at best. And there is 4-10% of the nation who knows their command allowed those attacks, and they are cool with that, and continue to serve it.
You will see.
