Gee I did not know that Free Republic was a special interest group. I guess Newsweek considers all of the Bush supporters as a special interest group, while all of Bush haters as true Americans. It is no wonder the tone of this election is going to be so negative. Newsweek is practicing Orwellian DOUBLE SPEAK plain and simple. Newsweek offers a internet poll and yanks the poll because they do not like the results. Newsweek is all for free press and 1st amendment rights as long as one supports their thoughts and opinions on their DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATES. Talk about special interest groups.

You got it right. It's not about fairness... it's about getting a result that favors the Democrats, Leftists, anything to support THEIR slanted view so they can influence the ignoramous masses.

Check out the poll. Even though approximately same amount of people voted each question, 50K+, it's interesting that we didn't go GAY bashing in our voting but we voted heavily for Laura and for President Bush. Has anyone paid attention to that? How could WE vote for Bush, Laura and be supportive of civil unions, etc.

For that reason alone, I don't believe we influenced the polls all that much. I can't believe a majority of freepers voted for civil unions even though I did.

Well I voted for civil union also. That issue comes close to home. I have a sister in law who is gay. She has a partner and the partner had a child and they both have raised him. Now they have split up and it is a mess a very big mess, where the child is concerned. I could not help but think had there been some formal union might have given some guidance to a judge sort out this mess. Of course the liberals and Democrats never give any thoughts to children born or unborn do they? Its all about instant gratification and a non judgmental public that is supposed to go along with it, according to the liberal view. However I digress you are right to point the fact out. Newsweek and the liberals would like to paint all of the Bush supporters dumb intolerant hicks from the sticks.

I'll put my response from this thread:PA Republicons email cyber members to stuff the Newsweek Poll (Kittens, here's food to play with)

over here too since you are trolling to multiple threads today.

Guess not since don't see the Democrats wasting their time trying to con the public.

But it does happen. Denial ain't a river. Have a nice ZOT.

Online polls are a joke. Simple political PR used by CNN and others to show "evidence" of support for the editor's stance.

The sooner the public wakes up to the fraud that these things are, the better. I have advocated taking some DUped polls that were in the 90% position and FReeping them the rest of the way to 99.9% so the public would realize that it means nada. Pushing something back down to 50% is pointless. It's a stalemate and still does not reflect reality.

Here is an MSNBC poll that was ISLAMmed yet there was no outing of this scampaign to push the numbers:

Seriously, everone go to this website Milia sent and vote for the Prophet, Peace Be Upon Him. I just went and voted and apparently, Alhumdullilah the most votes are for the Prophet (PBUH) right now, at 20,352. Second place is Jesus, with 5,026. So we're way ahead but the more the better. I also want to point out a very important thing. Many of you will think that we don't need to worry about some stupid vote to prove or show anyone that Prophet Muhammad, Peace Be Upon Him is really "Number One".
Agreed. However, stop and think for a minute that the amount of people around the world that are influenced by these same magazines, programs, and surveys will also think that "Hey, how did this person win? What's so special about them...etc etc". So the idea is that this is also a way, (a big way), to attract people's attention to Islam and to what the religion is all about, rather than them being bogged down by stereotypes they hear from the media, etc. So please go and vote at this website:

If Mr. Choudhary's name seems familiar, it is because he was one of the 3 Missouri college students stopped about a suspected terrorist threat made in Georgia (these were the kids stopped in Florida on the toll road).

Seems that I found this evidence of ISLAMming polls when I googled his name the day that story broke.

We do nothing that every other activist group does not already do with online polls. For Free Republic to be singled out for harassment by MS-NBC/Newsweek is a sham.

Let the record stand that months later this troll's account is still active yet he has not responded to this or other threads.
