Oregon State Beavers (how does that team handle its introduction?)

Aren't they always introduced as the crack team from the Pacific Northwest?

"Mr.MUM might not have been too thrilled with the initial findings...."

Yikes. I didn't even think about that, but I expect you're quite right.

Thanks. You're quite a bit taller than me as I recall. I'm only 5'1". And I still have a ways to go. A 6 isn't as small as it used to be. Still, been awhile since I could get my butt into a 6 regardless, so I'm pretty happy about it. And they're not even real tight.

Too many gin & tonics have been enjoyed since someone here brought forth the Dregs & Flakes label for us, and FReeople was coined during one of the 'thons, aka fundraisers, I believe.

There are sure some pretty spots in Idaho. I liked it up there, what I've seen. I don't think I'd much like the winters there though, just like I didn't like the winters in Colorado. At least Idaho has a little more humidity than Colorado.

Our youngest Rottie with our Manx cat. The two grew up together and were the greatest of pals. The dog used to drag the cat all over the place like it was a chew toy. The cat would finally have enough and take off...soggy but free.
Neighbors wanted the cat when we moved down here, but we put our two Rotts on the plane.

Looks great, horsie! A place to roam, yet still stay home.

It's something you should be proud of yourself for getting done - I've seen how tough it is for some folks to shed the lbs. And then there's those who simply give up and pig out...

Now to construct myself a beverage.

Cheers.

There are some days when I wish I had too many gin and tonics.

We know several expats who are planning on retiring down here...we just can't imagine doing that...too much red white and blue in our veins.

Awwww - that is way too cute.

Wonder if they'll remember each other in a couple more years...and speaking of that, how the heck long have you been on foreign duty?

The neat thing is the place is only 15-miles out of town and the road in the foreground only goes to one neighbor above us. The road dead ends at the BLM boundary so we don't get a lot of tourists.

Our friends used to have grazing permits in the mountains and the wife and I have spent a lot of time ahorseback riding for cows in those mountains. Never a bad moment...rain, snow, whatever.

With Westy and Loddy's help, I think I finally have it figured out.

There's no going back.
