We know it means somethings using lots of resources: have you pcpitstopped it...checked the number of proggies running at startup, and whacked those that you don't need?
Nully should have more suggestions, including "Get a Mac."

Makes no difference at all to me how the threads are done Mo. I'm on cable and have 250 posts to a page. But even when I had dial-up and had my settings at 100 posts per page, it wasn't bad most of the time.

How would you describe this thread, Mo?
Actually, I think of it as a combination place to relax and visit with friends and just talk about whatever, as well as a place to keep those that are "not quite ready for FR" FR isn't quite ready for. LOL!
