Drudge report is up, but there's nothing there but the basic links and a picture of the 2004 lighted sign from Times Square last night.
TOPICS:
KEYWORDS:
There were a ton of linked stories up until about 2 hours ago and then this generic page popped up. The man's certainly entitled to take some time off, but it's puzzling as to why he'd have this generic page with no stories. Most of what was up earlier was certainly still topical and current. Suppose something is up?

Hey, the guy decided it was time for a flush. You know once a year to clear the page.

I hate to admit it - but I just left Drudge's site, and I thought the exact same thing. It was strange, I thought - and I got a certain feeling, like "hmm - I wonder if something is up".

Maybe he's clearing space for the upcoming dirt on Dean's wife?

I suspect Drudge had a rip roaring time in South Beach last night and when he woke up to update the page, he killed all but the template.

Actually, he's back, at least as far as I can see.
Headline: Dean says terror alert, soldier deaths prove he was right about Saddam
links to the Croc hunter baby "scandal," Dean "educating white folks," Worlds first "pop idol," etc.

I suggest we organize a boycott of the Drudge Report. Not because we don't need his services and reporting but due to the fact that his web site have become one of the worst sites plagued with "pop ups" which makes it unusuable. I spend more time getting rid of those dam* pop ups than I do trying to actually read the articles he has to offer.
We can make a point with Matt that it is out of hand then we can more effectively use his service.
I have already stopped using his service and it bothers me because I like him as well as his service. Yes I have met Matt on two different occasions (the March for Justice as well as at the 2000 inaugauration).
Help me help Matt change his ways...........Thanks
Just log onto the Drudgereport.com and leave a message sayinging that you will discontinue using his service until he does something to eliminate those obnoxious pop ups......
