Kerry needs name recognition, personality and minority votes and womens votes.

He'll nominate oprah winfrey.

Interesting take on the Kerry V.P. pick.

I don't agree because she is virtually unknown except in her home state.

Hillary would not be pleased

Not enough "gravitas". I had to struggle to recall anything about her. The only thing that immediately comes to mind are some voting irregularities.

If you're correct I'll donate ten bucks to the fundraiser.

Interesting possibility. I don't necessarily think she'd help him more than anybody else, but it's sure an interesting possibility.

My guesses are in order.

1. Max Cleland - Play the "patriotism' card, Southern.
2. Dick Gephardt - Shore up unions, Missouri in play.
3. John Edwards - the Media's favorite, revive a dead career.

Kerry would have a better chance of winning if he picked Kermit as his VP....WHO cares.

Don't know whether you're series or not, but I don't see Kerry picking a woman VP. Don't think we're ready for one yet. Especially not Hitlery, or Ms. Landrieu!

Mary Landrieu a heartbeat from the oval office? Only if Bubba's in there and you're talking about a throbbing organ other than the heart....

If we started sending postcards to Saddam, would they be delivered? That could be a really fun FReeper project.

Kerry would do better by selecting our governor, Kathleen Babineaux Blanco, as running mate. "Babineaux" would carry the state of Louisiana for Kerry too. Or, if Kerry could find someone, anyone, named Boudreaux from Louisiana he'd carry the state. Sadly, that's the shallow voting patterns of Cajun country.
