NORTH ROYALTON, Ohio, Aug. 17 (UPI) -- Mario Russo, an alleged peeping Tom, is in a North Royalton, Ohio, hospital intensive care unit after a tree branch was used to sexually attack him.

WEWS-TV in Cleveland reported Tuesday the 44-year-old man was attacked after being seen outside a bedroom window with his pants around his ankles, while watching a 5-year-old girl sleep.

The girl's mother, Stacy Umstott; her aunt, Athena Lemieux; their boyfriends and two others face felonious assault and rape charges for allegedly beating Russo for more than an hour, p;olice told WEWS-TV.

Lemieux admitted to police she sexually assaulted Russo with the branch, police said.

If Russo dies, murder charges could be filed, police added.

My guess is, should he survive, he may have learned not to be watching five year old little girls sleep through their bedroom windows while he's got his pants around his ankles anymore...doing whatever he was doing while watching.

I personally know Stacey , she is a awesome mother , a little on the wild side. But I have always known her and her family to stick together very tightly. It is a shame that things got out of hand as they did. I think the damn pervert is playing the victim when he is truly the predator. I am not saying these things because I am biased, as a matter of fact me and Stacey have worked together and known each other for nearly ten years and never really got along all that well. I just know the type of person she was and always respected her. She was a tough, take care of business type of gal. She is honest and trustworthy, I got physically ill when I saw that she received nine years and will be away from her daughter that she was trying to protect. Damn it! I wish she would of thought before she acted! If anybody who knows her reads this, tell her Missie the bartender with the red hair on W 25th wishes her the best, keep your chin up girl!
