A 21-year-old Cobb County man has been charged with vehicular homicide and driving under the influence after his passenger was decapitated in an accident early Sunday morning.
Shortly after midnight Sunday, John Kemper Hutcherson, and 23-year-old Francis Daniel Brohm were returning home from a Marietta, Ga. bar when their truck ran into a curb near a telephone pole.
Brohm, partially outside the truck’s window at the time, was decapitated by a telephone pole guide wire.
Police say after the accident, Hutcherson continued home, parked his truck in his driveway with Brohm’s body still inside, then went inside and fell asleep.
At about 8 a.m. Sunday morning, Cobb County police received a call from a man who was out walking with his 1-year-old daughter and observed Brohm’s headless and bloody body hanging outside the truck’s window.
Police later found Hutcherson asleep inside the house, covered in blood and visibly inebriated. He was arrested in bed and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police also found Brohm’s decapitated head at the crash site along Canton Road.
Just damn.

when I first read this I thought the guy just drove home to cover up the accident and the fact that he was drunk, wanting to let the alcohol get out of his bloodstream.
then I went back and read it again, realizing he was so drunk that he had no idea his buddy was dead when he left the truck - this is very disturbing- not just the accident, but that someone could get so drunk that they don't realize there is a headless body sitting next to them. yuck.
What's that in the road? Ahead?

And how terrible for the man who found the body while with a 1-year old little girl... I hope she didn't see it :-(

Okay the jokes need to stop! There is absolutely nothing even remotely close to funny about this! Yes John screwed up and will be in jail for a long time, but he will also have to live with the fact that he killed his best friend of over ten years....(they were friends before high school). I went to school with both of them and know them on a personal level. To say the absolute least I am NOT amused! I will also add that the reporters have absolutely no right to give that much detail as to were John lived. It is sad that all of feel the need to be as childish and ignorant as you are! Think about what their families are going through right now.....is that funny?!?!? Put yourself in someone elses shoes before you resort to such tasteless humor...especially on a very sensitive issue. Think about Frankie's parents, they have to bury their son..................is this still funny to you???
