(09-09) 11:25 PDT MIAMI (AP) --
The Miami Dolphins' opening game against the Tennessee Titans will be played Saturday instead of Sunday because of approaching Hurricane Ivan.
Ivan could reach southern Florida as soon as Sunday, forecasters said. The Dolphins and Titans had been scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. EDT that day.

I'm waiting to see how the media drools over the Philly quarterback.
It's about time the season got here. I can't wait.
GO PATS!!!!
I'm ready for some football, but I'm not ready for Elton John, talented though he may be. What genius decided that a man who performs in feather boas and outfits so outlandish that even Liberace would've gasped in disbelief is the best way to kick off the NFL season? Elton John isn't just light in the loafers, he fills them with helium!
More days with football is *never* a bad thing.
The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders rule. Then there's everyone else.
I am too. I hope he takes the Eagles to a fourth straight NFC Chanpionship game and loses it. Then, he'll have a record NO OTHER qb has, losing four consecutive conference championship games. That'll be all his. OTOH, I'm hoping Vinnie and the 'Boys make it there instead and goes all the way.
The Bills almost accomplished that in the AFC :)

Yeah, but at least Jim Kelly GOT to the Super Bowl those four times. Donovan McNabb has yet to cross THAT threshold. If Dallas don't make it, I want McNabb & Co. to llllose it, AGAIN!!!!
Well, at least he has an easy first game, my Giants :)
Good luck. I hope the Giants win.
bump
Is this going to be on Sunday ticket? I just signed up on Directv.
It should be. I don't have the Ticket myself, (they took it off of C-Band big dish providers), but if it's in the contract, then those with Direct TV should get it. Are you ready for some football?
