well, shame on us...we bought into the whole thing and supported and emailed "our thanks" a gazillon times to Sinclair and their advertisers....
and got nothing.....
Michael Moore "beamed" Farenheght 911 INTO HOMES all around the USA today I hear....how he did it I dont know....

Stolen Honor was on their programming for wb23 in Mpls on Wednesday. They lied.
And the video is free to download, sent the link to my liberal family, I doubt they watch it.

If Sinclair assigned their best production folks to this important documentary with much of the nation watching, and all they could come up with was this 'high school media class' piece, then you should expect their stock to plummet.
The sacrifice and honor of these noble and gallant POWs will stay with me
(eg. Jeremiah Denton blinking out the code T-O-R-T-U-R-E in an interview before the world's press;
Adm. Stockdale deliberately smashing a stool into his face to avoid being used as a prop with anti-war visitors;
many other POWs who died after losing their mental capacities from the vicious beatings).

That sums it up very well! It didn't flow at all and they kept jumping around. Not a good job at all.
I some what agree with you BUT the POW's and SwiftVets took a hit on this piece and I hope it does not affect their momentum. My "feeling" is they have been put to rest now by the media--I hope I am wrong.

Just a thought,but do you think Sinclair generated all the publicity,so that people would become aware and want to see Stolen Honor? I don't know the answer myself,but was just wondering.

Do you work in their PR department??? They had total control over their program. They sucked in Fox News loyalists, and then slapped them in the face. And then there's the little issue of the brave POWs who they double crossed...
They can handle the blame, or find a new business.

I think we just have to admit that we were had and not make a big deal of it. Give the DUer's this one.
Just because this spot tried to destroy the validity of the swift vets, doesn't mean they can't blow it out of the water. I think they come across as being much more creidble than this rather amateurish piece.
I would expect a claim that it was so popular they are going to show it again though.
