Intimidation Watch- Dems Post Loss Strategy (Vanity)

Posted on 10/28/2004 1:37:40 PM PDT by mnehring

I overheard in office break room today two local dems (both pretty tight in the party and naacp) talking about what was to be done after Tuesday. One said that a plan was in place to make sure that no matter what happens on Tuesday, Kerry would be president. They mentioned that there were enough states where the electors are not required to follow the votes of the public that enough could be ‘convinced’ to switch their vote to Kerry. Their actual words was that they would be ‘strongly convinced’ to vote for the ‘right man’ no matter who they were sent to vote for.

Has anyone else heard of stuff like this planned?

Sounds like a lot of the crazy talk we heard in 2000...

The bribing of electors was a big story back in '00 when that snivelling tree hugger bozo (what the hell was that guy's name?) refused to accept defeat.

Just remember how a person is chosen to be an elector: they are the diehard party fanatics. They are wealthy--not easily bought. There's nothing remotely Jeffordsesque about these people in either party.
