I ran across this picture and well considering Frank Sinatra was a democrat, I thought Dino was too.

I believe the entire Rat Pack was Rat in the early 60's, but eventually became Republicans toward the end of the 60s.

Was Dean Martin a Republican?

Check the voting records.

If he voted on 2 November 2004, he was a Democrat.

I'll bet Sinatra wouldn't be a dem anymore, if he were alive.

I think Frank leaned Dim in the 60s, but was a GOPer in his later, smarter years.

I love listening to Dean's roasts. That was comedy at its finest back then. When real Americans drank, smoke, and ripped on each other good-naturedly.

Where he was born and raised was primarily steel plants, Steubenville, OH very blue collar and Democrat back then. Supposedly as the years wore on he became Republican.

I believe Frank was a supporter of Reagan's, so if he was a democrat, he was a Reagan democrat. Also, Charlton Heston was once a democrat, who helped organize the Hollywood contingent that supported and accompanied Dr King on the Washington march. Heston was even approached about running as a democrat senator after Reagan was elected governor of California.

As you know, Heston ultimately wound up being a staunch Republican conservative and NRA spokesman. Hollywood types who were Kennedy democrats were often Reagan democrats or outright republicans after their party went to hell in a handbasket.

I believe Ronald Reagan and Frank were Democrats and then switched parties later.

Frank Sinatra was all over the map. He was a Democrat in 1960, supporting John Kennedy. By 1980 he had become a Reagan supporter. But shortly before his death he came out for some leftist causes (Planned Parenthood and some environmental whacko stuff, if I recall).

I'm pretty sure Dean Martin was a lifelong Republican.

When was this picture taken? Back in the sixties, Reagan was a Democrat.
