We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
Terrorists in Fallujah attempted to break out yesterday, but came under withering American fire as they had nowhere to go.
US troops have also launched an offensive into Mosul, Iraq's third largest city, after terrorists there attempted to relieve pressure on Fallujah.
Arafat has been memorialized in Cairo, and will be buried in the West Bank.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
LET'S ROLL!!!
Good morning!!
Good morning.
Watching complete insanity on FNC regarding the delivery of Arafat's body to Ramallah.
Mourning! No wait, I'm not French or Palestinian... MORNING!
I reluctantly turned on my TV this morning. "Complete insanity" accurately describes what I saw. This Arafat funeral "news" will evidently be w/us for days. The fact that Arafat was an EVIL man escapes attention on TV.
I turned on MSNBC had chuckled over hearing Carville try to get out of admitting Arafat was a terrorist.
Carville also said that the purpose of having a two party system in the US is to have one of those parties actually WIN something once and a while. He admitted they don't control anything right now. LOL
I am with you and Chair on this. I refuse to watch any news which attempts to glorify him. He was an evil man who escalated the terrorism in Israel. He met with an inglorious end and deserves to be villified, not deified.
I hope the Israelies bomb fire out of the West Bank where he may be buried.
Carville ADMITTED...instead of raging "at the dying of the light." His facing the truth is something I missed. LOL
Bill Bennett sub on radio just now mentioned honoring arafat in this way would be like honoring Saddam when he dies.. good point
Good morning. BAD MOURNING (going on)
I am sore today. Wednesday morning I got our chainsaws back from the repair shop. Several large bushes (at least 10 feet tall), with gnarled thick trunks are now short. I also took out a few scrub oaks and privet hedges. But I'm paying for it. I can hardly lift my arms today. I'm glad its raining now when I don't want to work outside.
I think I'll quilt instead.
On another note: What a contrast this Arafat hysteria is to the funeral of our beloved President Reagan: people w/flags lining the streets (some weeping) and/or lining up for hours to pass quietly and respectfully past his casket.
Good morning! Watching the mayhem and bedlam on Fox....
More material for satire....Arafat's coffin pushed and pulled all over the place.
The world is a far, far better place now that he has gone to the place with eternal warmth.
As the immortal philosopher Bugs Bunny said: Good riddance to bad rubish.
I do not mourn, I rejoice!
Freedom is a fragile thing and is never more than one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a people. Those who have known freedom, and then lost it, have never known it again.
-- Ronald Reagan
The funny thing is that I can't start it. I have to get JT or hubby to do that. You have to pull the rope like you used to do for a lawn mower and I don't pull it fast enough.
Hope for the World NY Post
Another pic of our brave guys in Fallujah
Roomey turned on the tv to listen to Imus, and fell promptly to sleep. I woke up to a scene I see when I disturb a fireant mound. The palestinians are milling around that coffin just like the fireants do when they are disturbed. The evil runt will not be missed.
Good Morning Everyone. Won't be here till evening. I need to go up to Waco. Seems I spend a lot of time up there.
Today, it's interesting to hear the on-the-spot Fox babe reporting, then Brian Kilmeade provide the "rest of the story."
The reporter there is a little toooooooo swept into the moment of honoring this terrorist.
But I'm going to shut it off soon. A little goes a long way.
