I think Scarlett would have loved Bonnie had she thought to, but never thought to. She was a supremely thoughtless woman. Never in my life have I felt such an urge to slap a movie character so many times LOL!
You've hit on the very essence of "i'll think about it tomorrow". She was thoughtless. The only thing she thought about "today" was being with Ashley.
Remember when Bonnie came back from England. She was so happy to see her. And when Bonnie fell off the horse, she shrieked in horror. She didn't think about how much she loved her or missed her until it was too late, iow, "tomorrow".
