It certainly does matter because it is just one more seed of nonconventional wisdom that could easily become conventional wisdom as has the purported gayness of Alexander The Great and the attempted gayification of Solomon if no one provides the counter point. When we say who cares? Certainly not Lincoln, but who does this tripe affect? It affects especially the younger generation, and it affects the society in which we live. When you just assume no one cares then the next thing you know your daughter is the one coming home telling you she was asked by a teacher to taste a flavored condom or secreted away to have an abortion or her boyfriend just takes a baseball bat to her to have her miscarriage. When moral structure is weakened adverse things happen because the clarity is not there for those that need it most the young. We already see the affect of hypersexualization on young men with increasing numbers of rapes being comitted by young men in groups and we see it in more confused kids being led into a dangerous lifestyle that decreases their life expectancy and keeps them from leading an otherwise normal life.

Lincoln was gay. John Wilkes Booth was a spurned lover.

Hey yeah. Lincoln did seem to enjoy the theatre just a little to much.

Lincoln wasn't gay, but he was a trendy metrosexual. That explains his presence at Ford's Theater.

I have a question.

Who is Oliver Stone?

If you are going to define (or redefine) people for a living, then doesn't your life become subject to definition?

Oliver Stone?

Hmmm?

Oliver Stone was recently seen buying multiple copies of lifesize Scott Hamilton (as Luke Skywalker) cardboard cutouts.

Oliver Stone was a regular member of a sexaholics annonomous group formed to specifically deal with tupperware fetishes.

Oliver Stone bought and sold east Australian Jabba Jabba birds until his efforts resulted in the last surviving female being pinned by the neck under a delapidated
Zebra motifed LandRover.

Oliver Stone befriended a Scottish Doctoral student, who rumor has, while covered in a rasberry vinegrette read aloud the constitution to an audience of celebrities... many of whom were shocked by its candid language and sense of "rightness".

What say you Oliver?

Defend yourself Man!

Not strange at all. I remember that time. We wouldn't have thought of behaving in the ways the left did in this past election either! Still wouldn't. Heck we wouldn't even have thought of throwing litter all over the country! People, most, had values.

From what I've read about Mary Todd Lincoln she's the type of woman who could've turned him.

But seriously, this is just pathetic.

And you stated again, so well and more in depth, precisely what the crux of the situation is, and have noted how wide spread the devisive the, as you pointed out, small activist comminutity truly is. Information is power to reason in an effective and quickly responsive manner. We need information such as you provided to better counterbalance the pap that our young and impressionable youth are quick of which to make "their sense."

Common sense and normalcy have taken a VERY back seat OF our young impresionables, to the of-the-minute-buzz/bombarding catch-words, their desire for acceptance, and the mainstreaming without judgement, taught amuck. The ball is being moved in an blurring direction, which is all the harder for children to sort things out, feel comfortable with basic absolutes, or universally DESIRED and needed parameters. It's all too much for our children to come to grips with, especially with all that they have to sort out as it is. The combined (adult-oriented) pressure is too much, too soon for our next generation. These kid SNATCHERS make me ILL. It is up to clear thinking adults to put a STOP to this creeping nonsense. We have the power, and information always strenthens action.

Sorry if I didn't explain myself very well. YOU certaintly did, and I thank you again, Ma31stOrm.

What most don't realize is Oliver's taste for "butter knifing".

"For this case, any trained scholar who (like the present writer) is gay has a substantial advantage, the very same intuitive feel that mainstream analysts have for heterosexual politics."

This guy is sick and pathetic. He attempts to use a famous American to make himself fell better. He must have a terribly twisted life.

How selfish.

When I was a young teenager, the word "gay" did not exist.

It existed when I was a teenager but it had a whole different meaning.

I resent people taking words with one meaning and changing them to something totally opposite. How many songs were written before the "gay" movement and people were happy and gay. Gay meant to be joyous. This is one of many words that have been stolen over the years. Changing the English language.

It P.....s me off.

Of course. Every important, positive historical figure about who "gayness" can be charged, are, well, gay. They were so gay and giggling all the time. What a load of crap.

I heard that Hillary Clinton the other day described herself as a conservative, evangelical Christian. If there is anyone who deserves a lightening strike, it's her.

Sorry about my last post on the matter. I didn't mean to come off sounding like such a hard-liner about all of it. I revert instead to how you explained things (so well,) and I see, as you do, a groundswell of a certain type of approach that the minority activists have noted as successful. We can counteract them with reason and fact, without gettin all hepped up about the explosive issue at hand (as about which they would like to to get worked up--losing our cool and sounding irrational.

Boy I'm tired, and worn about a matter of the heart that has caused me great worry and sorrow. I feel like dirt about it, and really need a good night's rest and lots of prayer. Take care, Ma31st0rm.

The Demonrats wrote up some "We Love Jesus Just Like Republicans!" talking points before the suicides from the election were even cold; they've been running around like frantic rats trying to claim they have "Moral Values". Sounds like the Queen "B" is leading the rat pack in dissembling.

Think it'll fly? Ketchup Boy didn't fool any of us dumb rednecks out here by standing there holding a dead duck and grinning... Think anyone's gonna believe that shrieking dyke Hitlary has "Found The Lord"?

"Abe Lincoln would regularly pull sapling white pines out by the root as he feared their presence. "

LOL, Great one!

Kim Jong-Il is actually a just a reincarnated Napoleon, only, you know... Korean.

Churchill dispensed rabid badgers in burlap sacks to Brit paratroopers. "When you find them sleeping in their foxholes, lads, drop a one of these furious rabid badgers into their pants. Then and only then may you go forth with your mission. It's all about taking the mickey, boys."

Stalin's Gulags were actually really fun, full of ice-cream and cotton candy shops, and everyone that said otherwise is playing a really funny inside joke on all of us.

Wow, rewriting history is fun :D

"The entire Union Army was gay since they came from the cold North where spooning to keep warm was commonplace. And the Southerners? How do you think the "Rebel Yell" was born?"

And when they used to charge each other, when they hit in the middle, they put their swords away and had a gigantic slap-fight.

I didn't think things would get funnier than watching anti-military, anti-Vietnam War anti-American lefties trying to defend Kerry, and condemning Bush for not going over to 'Nam. That was friggin' hilarious. This is even funnier. The rabidly-secular to the point of being anti-religion party has now apparently found God and Jesus especially. Can't wait to see photo-ops of them going to Wal-mart and having to maintain a smile, or eating at a Waffle House without vomiting, or even better, singing hymns in church and really trying to look like their serious.

They cannot even imagine strong friendships, even love, between men without those men winding up in the sack. And they cannot imagine people sharing a bed together without there being sex involved, even though that was very common not so long ago, and it was even common for travelers to share beds with strangers if there were no other accomodations in a town.

IMHO, you are on to something here. Simply put, these people do not know anything about love. They equate biological urges with love and thus are lost to explain anything more. Sick puppies, all.
