Thanks for the words to 'Laura'....I recognized the tune but had forgotten the words.

Here's another great photo from the Inaugural Balls:

You can see that Laura's dress is a very pale blue while Barbara's is a creamy or antique white.

I was lucky to be very close to the First Lady when she was in Sarasota, FL in October! She has the most beautiful blue eyes and an aura of 'goodness' and a gracious charm about her.

I remember reading before the 2001 Inauguration that W had taken dance lessons so he could get through ceremonial duties. Apparently, he can fake about 3 steps before he gets totally lost.

Laura would obviously make the ordeal easy for him, but I've been wondering about that young servicewoman he danced with? I wonder if she figured out that he was doing something he'd really rather not just to honor her and the rest of the troops. Or maybe she was getting hazardous duty pay. :-)

Hi Meg33 ~ Sorry about that! I've been doing battle with my server for the past two days and I think it is all finally resolved.... the images should all be back online in a few hours.

As you can see I have finally been able to get my images back on line. I am so sorry this happened ... I have been been going round and round with the tech people, the support people, the administration people and the management of my server trying to get 3 of my domains back online and they have been an absolute nightmare!

Today I changed all four of my domains to a newer host server and spent the entire day uploading the thousands of files from domains to my new server (what a task!).

At any rate, here are the inaugural ball pictures, in all their beauty!! Enjoy!!
