Richard C. Hoagland has another finding about Iapetus (Saturn's Moon)! Aliens might have made it!
Me

According to a new article by Richard C. Hoagland, the man that brought up 'startling' evidence that there Pyramids on Mars, and a face on Mars, as well as signs that inteligent life terraformed Titan, he discovered that there is something strange about Iapetus! Whis his greatness on drawing lines on pictures, he discovered that Iapetus appears to be...a spaceship!

Well, to be fair, he doesn't know if it is a spaceship. However, it is one of this theories according to his new article that can be found here!

http://www.enterprisemission.com/

And at the very least, he DOES believe that it has something to do with intelligent life (read aliens) involvement. Iapetus seems to be too...artificial to be real (because after all, there are not straight lines in nature...).

So, not only did Aliens (who all seem to have left BTW) built structures on Mars, terraformed Titan, and now...they built structures on Iapetus! Cool!

Will his brillance never end?

The Deathsta...I mean Iapetus. Note Hoagland's amazing skill of draw lines on pictures to prove Aliens could be involved.

Heh... well put. Hoaxland would be funnier if he weren't so frighteningly serious about his delusional system.

That pict on the left very clearly and concisely and authoritatively and most of all conclusively proves that it was the easter island sculptors who built laptopeus.

I am NOT going to ask what he says about Mimas, the moon of Saturn that looks suspicious like the Death Star from the Star Wars movies.

Naw, it looks like Uniblab from the Jetsons, the same way the Face on Mars looks like Elroy.

Undeniable proof that the Martians have influenced even the most minute details of our development:
Undeniable proof that those are real horsies in the clouds

The photo on the left looks like it was designed by "Mr. Bill," not an alien.

He's on George Noory's show talking about being NASA administrator a month or so ago. It would be fun for about a month to hear his crazy theories, but it would soon turn into a major international embarrassment. He certainly likes to promote himself and his merchandise, and that's really why he indulges in the kookery.

MORE GOOD NEWS! Richard C. Hoagland WILL be on tomorrow's (well, I guess now, technically tonights since it is past midnight) Coast to Coast talking about...YOU GUESSED IT, Iapetus! Let's all bow down to the genius of Richard C. Hoagland on George Noory!

KevinDavis has a space ping list. You can try giving him an email to get on it.

As for Richard C. Hoagland, well, there is currently no kook list, ;-) though, if it is relevent to space in general, I'm sure KevinDavis might ping a thread involving him. After all, SOME people do take him seriously. Which is a scary thought (listen to the next time Richard C. Hoagland is on Coast to Coast with Georgy Noory/Art Bell).

Didn't Hoagland used to be an actual legitimate person of some kind, once?

Oh, he's an actual legitimate person alright. No doubt about it. He's a human being. But I find it hard to believe that anyone could spout the continuous stream of howlers that he does and not have some mental illness which permits him to believe it. Did you know, for example, that NASA chooses launch dates and such based on numerological or Freemasonic symbolism? Me either.

http://www.mt.net/~watcher/jamescameronconspiracy.html

"In regards to the arrival of extra-terrestrials and the destruction of Phoenix, Arizona, the SETI (Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence) Institute detected a signal in the direction of the star called EQ Pegasi in the Pegasus Constellation in September of 1998. The SETI institute dismissed the signal and no attention was paid to it until an amateur radio astronomer named Paul Dore in England picked up the same signal. A series of strange events ranging from a called off press conference, a SETI denial and then support of the theory of the signal, intimidation of Mr. Dore by the NSA and disinformation put out in the press has been decoded with Freemasonic symbolism by Richard C. Hoagland of the Enterprise Mission. This became known as the EQ Pegasus Saga."

Oh my goodness! If you thought the delusion couldn't get any worse, check out Part 3 of the article! http://www.enterprisemission.com/moon3.htm

A few quotes...

A “moon” -- but a moon like no other known, one which has intrigued and mystified Earthbound astronomers for centuries … which now, it turns out, is quite possibly a very ancient spaceship … placed in orbit around Saturn for “some reason” … a long, long time ago.

When it was new, it may have even looked a bit like this (below) -- complete with “equatorial ring.”

(Which means, of course, we now have to add George Lucas to our growing list – and ask where he got such an extraordinary concept ….)

Dun duh duh duhhhhh dun duh duh dun duh duh!!!! [/Star Wars Theme]

Another quote...

But, because of the deafening silence coming out of NASA on what it already knows but won’t release (let alone suspects!), about the glaring anomalies we’ve now identified about this “moon” … we are left with only one sad but inevitable conclusion:

NASA, again, has decided to “tough it out” … to officially say nothing -- like it has treated all its other discoveries of “extraterrestrial ruins” in the solar system … over the last 30 or so years ….

You can just hear the X-Files music playing!

And I haven't even finished the article yet! If you want to laugh, check it out for yourself!

if richard hoagland were a moon he'd be covered with craters.

i have never been one of the hoagland hecklers, but i've really been disappointed since that CYDONIA CITY fiasco two years back. when the subject of his credibility came up, i would mumble something about "stay tuned" and try not to defend him anymore, and just let richard worry about richard. WELL.....

i am more than half convinced he is correct about iapetus.

first, let me say it is a lot of work to read a 3-part, somewhat technical article, so my conclusions are tentative here. that said, what i have absorbed so far has me VERY excited. flabbergasted might be a better word.

what is so terrible about a 900 mile wide artificial satellite in our solar system anyway? IF it's genuine it's been there since the dawn of human history and nothing bad has happened because it.

i think this thing deserves a lor of debate and discussion. A LOT. keep in mind however that giving richard H. a beatdown is not "debate and discussion"......some of you seem to compulsively attack his motives and mental health without giving his latest truth claims a half-decent read.

so far, FOR ME, the most impressive evidence is the radar signal deflection. the radar behaved exactly as it would if this thing were artificial [NOT a sphere]. also, the fact that the notoriously data-shy JPL is still refusing to release the radar data sets is not helping quash the growing murmurs that this thing is an ET artifact.

IS IT just a big dumb moon, with an obsessed human named richard hoagland adopting it as the latest prop in his delusional fantasies? that 12 mile high "wall" is telling me it isn't.

Sorry for being gone for so long, was kicked off the Internet here for a time. I even missed Hoaglands return to Coast to Coast (full show since, no Internet, no radio).

Anyways, believe it or not, I don't completely disagree with every of Hoagland's theories. When I see some of the pictures, I too, am completely facinated with them, and do ask the question, are they artificial, was some sort of life involved? The problem is, when I look at something, like the wall on Iapetus, or the 'face' on Mars, I go, wow! I wonder how that happened? That could actually be something interesting! Problem with Hoagland though, he immediately goes with the alien must have made it as he draws line on pictures to somehow prove that they are artificial. While in some cases, he does have a point...

Could be what Hoagland thinks it is, a fossil of an ancient life form on Mars. Which NASA grounded to dust with the rover.

However, the face on Mars...new pictures appear that the mountain is acutally just that, a mountain! Yet he STILL insist, aliens made it.

And when he goes off on some sort of conspiracy, it is difficult to agree with him. He also seems to think, everytime someone discovers something (water on Mars, life on Mars, etc.) he believes HE should have the credit for discovering it first or something. Too much ego for me. I mean, I like his enthusiasm, but not he does go overboard WAY too many times for me to take seriously.

yes, he does go overboard.

"G E R O N I M O!!!!!"

...and then we are plunged into a masonic ritual conspiracy theory that stretches openmindedness to its limit. i know it is hard to take that kind of pseudo-science seriously, but that is not what RCH is doing with iapetus. that 3 part presentation is hoagland the secientist at his best, and [as a quick read-through of this thread will attest to] it is really hard to give pat answers to the planetary geology questions screaming out to us from this data.....the MOST telling of which has not been released by JPL yet [to my knowledge].

my advice to the openminded is, for now, to ignore the largest of the image blowups hoagland uses- they are too potentially flawed- and instead concentrate on the rest of the article. once you do i trust you will see that this "moon" is quickly becoming the most anamolous object in the solar system.
