Texas Stadium, home of the yucky Dallas Cowboys. Got that right.
I grew up a Redskins fan, became an Oilers fan shortly after arriving in Houston (lo, many years ago) and am now a die-hard Texans fan, with season tickets, even.
I have plenty of reasons to hate the {shudder!} Cowboys.

But your beaches suck. Woah......Now you done it!
Padre Island has some of the finest beaches in the western hemisphere...
I will concede that the upper Texas coast has brown sand beaches that do not please the "Muscle Beach Butt-Showin Speedo-People"....then again...California needs your $$$ and tax $$$$....so they can steal the remainder of your freedoms....

and we can divide our state into five states at any time if we wanted to! And then you'd have 10 Senators wearin' cowboy boots instead of just 2. I love it in Texas. I've been here for 25 years. Why would I go anywhere else?

By federal law, Texas is the only state in the U.S. that can fly its flag at the same height as the U.S. flag. That's untrue, although it sounds good.

I've been here for 25 years. Why would I go anywhere else? Exactly. I wasn't born in Texas, due to a military-brat upbringing, but I got there as fast as I could.
There's no place else I have any desire to live.

and we can divide our state into five states at any time if we wanted to! Carving up my native land is a sacreligious thought.....the only thought outlawed by all reasonable defenders of the Republic.... We joined the Union as one and if necessary, should leave as one...
Commanly posted Texas fence warnings should include, "Blue areas will be re-annexed"..........

My parents made the mistake (not) of bringing me here for two years when I was a kid, so I had to find my way back as soon as I coould.

I can think of one Blue area in particular, near the center of the state that starts with an A and ends with an N that needs to be re-annexed.
p.s., I understand, as I'm sure you do as well that there is no "center" of the state of Texas.
