We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
The Pope's tracheotomy means that, without external aids, he will now be unable to speak.
Canada has refused to join America in building an anti-missile defense shield for the continent. In effect, this surrenders Canadian sovereignity to the United States with respect to their airspace--the chances that America would ignore a missile in flight over Canada is nil, despite protestations from Ottawa that Canada expects to be consulted regarding any violation of their airspace.
The Center for [Junk] Science in the Public Interest said the Federal Government has done little to regulate the amount of salt in food.
And, the Washington Pravda, in their continuing assualt on the Administration, took issue with Sec'y Rice's clothing selection as she visited the American army facility in Wiesbaden. The rag stated: "Rice boldly eschewed the typical fare chosen by powerful American women on the world stage. She was not wearing a bland suit with a loose-fitting skirt and short boxy jacket with a pair of sensible pumps. She did not cloak her power in photogenic hues, a feminine brooch and a non-threatening aesthetic. ... Rice's coat and boots speak of sex and power -- such a volatile combination, and one that in political circles rarely leads to anything but scandal. When looking at the image of Rice in Wiesbaden, the mind searches for ways to put it all into context. It turns to fiction, to caricature. To shadowy daydreams. Dominatrix! It is as though sex and power can only co-exist in a fantasy. When a woman combines them in the real world, stubborn stereotypes have her power devolving into a form that is purely sexual. [Excerpt--full story here]
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
The left, for all their openness, simply cannot accept the notion of a very powerful and intelligent black woman. I have no pity for their conflicted souls.
What a bunch of Bull Roar. Condi is intimadating the Hell out of them. And I love her all the more for doing so.
And, by the way, Good Morning!
E.D. Hill is discussing the article now.
E.D. is stickup up for Condi.
You beat me to it. I was just coming back in here to type the same words!
Once again the left proves they can't handle people who are comfortable with themselves.
Every time I think the left can't go lower, they inevitably do. Bah!
I think Dr. Rice looked fabulous! The Washington Post can go pound sand.
After reading the blurb by Pravda, I wonder if Mark Morford came east, and is now writing for the Compost. Methinks they are obsessed with sex as much as hatred of this administration.
The problem is: The WP thought she looked fabulous, too.
The contrast between Condi and Madam Allbricks is so totally remarkable, they feel they have to tear Condi down in an attempt to equalize the situation.
They might as well forget it. I hope they don't. The American public will side with Condi.
Mercy me, I'm sure glad the adults are in charge now!!!
I second that!
You owe me a new monitor! LOLOL!!!
Oh my gosh!! The sun is shining..well, it's trying to make it thru the clouds...
I don't remember where she was...(someone fill this in) but the broad was somewhere abroad, and was actually mistaken for the cleaning woman.
I didn't dream this, did I y'all....?....it really happened didn't it.
The ole mind has shut down many brain cells from that garbage era, LOL.....
Between that and the Ward Churchill art forgery story, it's looking to be a very good day today. :^D
Good morning everybody. Temps have cooled down here a little for a day or so. The Drama Club here is putting on a dinner show tonight, doing a re-vamp of Rowan and Martin's Laugh In. Takes me back to memories of a very young Goldie Hawn. Ought to be fun.
"....one that in political circles rarely leads to anything but scandal.
When libs go over the top, they surprise even me.
One member of the delegation, who didnt realize who she was, and probably thinking she was some cleaning lady because it was after midnight, simply said to her, Give us five minutes and please go away, recalled Albanian diplomat Dugagjin Gorani in War on Europe, a British TV program. Instead, Albright exploded in rage, swearing at the group, according to the reports.
Mrs. Albright started using explicit language which the translators never could translate into Albanian, says Veton Surroi, another member of the delegation.
If Condi Rice was a Democrat, the press would NEVER make fun of her clothing and lack of a brooch. That WaPo article was simply disgraceful. Racist and sexist, all rolled into one.
And let's add to the list that Hillary was rebuked by Iraq's leading candidate for prime minister. hehehe
We have people coming to clean bedroom carpets today so I have to get moving.
Good morning, Molly.
But it is still VERY funny!
I haven't read that one. Will have to look for sure.
Here's a link to one of the articles about Hillary.
Very, very sorry. but no links this a.m. Running behind for appt.!
Mark Steyn is on C-Span now w/Brian Lamb. Says HE never went to journalism school. LOL
Folks, ya can't make this stuff up, LOLOL!
Pope John Paul (news - web sites) II is breathing on his own, but his doctors have advised him not to speak for a few days, the Vatican said Friday, a day after he was rushed to a hospital and underwent surgery to ease another breathing crisis.
Papal spokesman Joaquin Navarro-Valls said the frail 84-year-old John Paul spent a restful night at Rome's Gemelli Polyclinic, where doctors said there was no sign the pope had a lung infection such as pneumonia.
Continued prayers for the Pope!
I'm with you, Guennie. I knew about her being mistaken for a maid but didn't realize she had gone into hissy fits about it. The part about them not being able to translate her words is hilarious.
You are such a dear! Your sense of humor brightens our days. Wish I could return the favor in full but you outclass me in wit and quickness by miles. *hugs*
Good Morning All.
In the days of yore, when the most brilliant women of the universe ruled the whitehouse, the dnc and presstitutes complained we conservatives were afraid of STRONG, POWERFUL women, remember? I seem to remember she dressed according to the times, her hair always looked clean and in place. Now the Republicans have a brilliant, beautiful and powerfull Sec. of State and she doesn't dress according to the dnc's idea of "well dressed", ahhh the shame of it. She sits with the troops with boots on...now that's powerful and sexy. Were those boots patent leather or plain leather? Inquiring minds want to know.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Those links look sooooo good. Son is on a diet to make weight for a National Qualifier tomorrow. I am on the same diet with him. He is 2 lbs. under right now.
Asking for prayers for safety tomorrow for my son.

Thank you! I hadn't seen this, what a comment for her to make on national TV (although I wouldn't necessarily call it an "international incident" like Newsmax does.
Good for Jaffari.
Does anyone know what has happened??
What channel? (I'm listening to Steyn)
I didn't hear it........just saw it, so I don't know if it was another "aide" or not.
I don't see anything on FR about it either.
It says the leader of a terrorist cell was captured. Not very clear even in print.
Please keep us updated on who was captured.
This is what the article on the Fox website said, and it had a picture of al Zarqawi next to it. Doesn't say if there's a connection.....
