AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 1497) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | February 25, 2005 | All of Us

Posted on 02/25/2005 4:31:26 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

The Pope's tracheotomy means that, without external aids, he will now be unable to speak.

Canada has refused to join America in building an anti-missile defense shield for the continent. In effect, this surrenders Canadian sovereignity to the United States with respect to their airspace--the chances that America would ignore a missile in flight over Canada is nil, despite protestations from Ottawa that Canada expects to be consulted regarding any violation of their airspace.

The Center for [Junk] Science in the Public Interest said the Federal Government has done little to regulate the amount of salt in food.

And, the Washington Pravda, in their continuing assualt on the Administration, took issue with Sec'y Rice's clothing selection as she visited the American army facility in Wiesbaden. The rag stated: "Rice boldly eschewed the typical fare chosen by powerful American women on the world stage. She was not wearing a bland suit with a loose-fitting skirt and short boxy jacket with a pair of sensible pumps. She did not cloak her power in photogenic hues, a feminine brooch and a non-threatening aesthetic. ... Rice's coat and boots speak of sex and power -- such a volatile combination, and one that in political circles rarely leads to anything but scandal. When looking at the image of Rice in Wiesbaden, the mind searches for ways to put it all into context. It turns to fiction, to caricature. To shadowy daydreams. Dominatrix! It is as though sex and power can only co-exist in a fantasy. When a woman combines them in the real world, stubborn stereotypes have her power devolving into a form that is purely sexual. The left, for all their openness, simply cannot accept the notion of a very powerful and intelligent black woman. I have no pity for their conflicted souls.

Good morning everyone.

The MSM have written fluff stories about Sheila Jackson Lee and Maxine Waters for years, but write stuff like this regarding Dr. Rice??? Disgusting!

Once again the left proves they can't handle people who are comfortable with themselves.

Oh, far better that she dress as dumpy Madame Albright! And where was her brooch, huh?

Every time I think the left can't go lower, they inevitably do. Bah!

I think Dr. Rice looked fabulous! The Washington Post can go pound sand.

Good morning. How ya doin'?

After reading the blurb by Pravda, I wonder if Mark Morford came east, and is now writing for the Compost. Methinks they are obsessed with sex as much as hatred of this administration.

The problem is: The WP thought she looked fabulous, too.

The contrast between Condi and Madam Allbricks is so totally remarkable, they feel they have to tear Condi down in an attempt to equalize the situation.

They might as well forget it. I hope they don't. The American public will side with Condi.

I guess it's OK with them...(left media) that Madame Not-so-Bright was mistaken for a cleaning woman.--what an embarrassment

Mercy me, I'm sure glad the adults are in charge now!!!

GOOD A.M. ALL FROM THE MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST, USA!!!!

D just had a call from a church friend that she and hubby just bought some land with a house on it real close to us. I like them, real nice folks.

Had my grits with two sop eggs on top and now ready to take on the world, bring it on.

Gotta go into town this A.M. to sign insurance papers on my house, sure will be glad to get it fixed up for selling and get it sold, I want to put that part of my life behind me, too many memories under that roof, all good ones of course.

I have started looking at tractors as I am going to get me a new one. I am keeping old Clo Tee and will fix it up, repaint it, etc., The new one will have a front end loader on it as there are so many times I have needed one. I will also get me a disc as I find many uses for that as well.\

Gotta get gd on the move so I can get her to school. You ought to be a fly in that car to hear the conversations we have, cracks me up. Oh, yep, she is getting a little wiser too.

Here are prayers for all to stay safe and to have a good day. Please, say prayers for Terri all day today. I got to say it does bother me that her brother is going to be on a TV talk show when the decision to kill her or, to let her live comes down. Kill her, sorry to sound so yucky but that is what that judge will do to her if he rules to pull that tube. Toby

Oh my goodness Chair, surely you remember that embarrassing moment.

I don't remember where she was...(someone fill this in) but the broad was somewhere abroad, and was actually mistaken for the cleaning woman.

I didn't dream this, did I y'all....?....it really happened didn't it.

The ole mind has shut down many brain cells from that garbage era, LOL.....

Exactly. Condi's outfit is a new look of power for women in high office. The RATS are scared to death!

Between that and the Ward Churchill art forgery story, it's looking to be a very good day today. :^D

Good morning everybody. Temps have cooled down here a little for a day or so. The Drama Club here is putting on a dinner show tonight, doing a re-vamp of Rowan and Martin's Laugh In. Takes me back to memories of a very young Goldie Hawn. Ought to be fun.

Secretary of State Madeleine Albright was mistaken for a maid during last year’s peace negotiations for Kosovo in Rambouillet, France. According to a report in the "New York Daily News," the Secretary of State at first wasn’t recognized by the Albanian delegation when she walked into their room.
