It is indeed unfortunate that holistic medicine has a bad name. To many of its practicioners don't really understand what they are doing, so they contribute to the problem.
Very interesting that you posted that. I have been going through the same thing for about twenty years and have seen about a million doctors. I have recently found a compounding pharmacist who has been incredibly helpful and knows exactly how to handle this kind of thing. In my case it is adrenal deficiency. Since I am three points higher than what would be considered Addison's disease (if you test at 4.9, you're diseased. At 5, you're a-okay), my doctor pretty much told me to deal with it or see a psychiatrist. I can't understand why doctors don't test all hormone levels when a patient is sick.
