Candidate Clinton would drive me to vote 3 times against her. I can't think of a rat I'd rather be facing. She sucks. Even WI might vote Republican if she's the rat nominee.
The US attorney - a Bush employee - could get a court order enforcing the Congressional subpeona. Or a court order for a criminal investigation, or for an investigation of deprivation of federal civil rights (based on allegations that were made to Florida DCF); you're right, the people would support it - unless and until Bush made a national address informing America what's really happening to Terri, (so that the propaganda of the MSM could be dispelled, and the polls turned around).. But Bush isn't enough of a leader to do any of this.
People accuse me of being a long-time "Bush basher." No, I just discovered earlier what other people are only realizing now: that he's not the great courageous leader of Free Republic mythology. Even if the Iraq invasion was brilliant foreign policy, fighting Saddam did not take much courage -because Saddam is, rightly, universally hated. Standing up to George Greer - now THAT would take courage, more than either Bush brother has.
Let's just hope the GOP doesn't nominate Jeb Bush, or we might see Hillary choosing the drapes in the White House, come 2009 (And mind, I was a Jeb-for-president person up until this Terri Schiavo atrocity)

I never suggested that, nor even imagined it. However, there is no way that the local police would "shoot it out" with the State Police and National Guard, it just would not happen.
I see this whole thing as a poker game, the liberals are calling the bluff of our elected leaders by boldly asserting judicial power and authority over our elected Representatives, Governors, Senators and the Executive branch; and they are winning every hand as the conservative hands fold before they even see the hands of the rat-faced liberals. I think we live in times where it takes a lot of courage to fight the atheists, communists, pagans, socialists and liberals, and I'm just not seeing that courage from our elected officials.
If you are happy with them, then so be it. But just take a look around at where we are today, and where Terri Schiavo is, before you start defending the lack of action by our elected leaders.

And most of the posts have altered titles. It seems that churchillbuff cannot post without parenthetical comments in the title. Churchillbuff has been trolling since the beginning. And has been conducting an often one-sided flamewar against Peach in the meantime.
Criticizing is one thing, but there is no problem, nowhere that churchillbuff cannot find a Republican to blame it on. This is troll behavior and the inflammatory altered titles of often vanity posts give it away.

Too many posts to do them all justice. The bottom line is that there is nothing that churchillbuff will not blame on Republicans and posts vanities and alters titles to facilitate the trolling.
