Terri Schiavo's estranged husband Michael has denied her a final communion before she is expected to succumb to a painful starvation death. The decision has left Terri's parents and family in a state of shock.
Responding for the Schindler family, Brother Paul O' Donnell said it was an affront to Terri and her Catholic beliefs.
'Terri Schiavo, a practicing Catholic all of her life, has been denied the precious body and blood of our Lord, Jesus Christ. This is in violation of her religious rights and freedoms and (should) allow the governor to intervene.'
The decision is important to Terri's family as it could be the last time she has communion before she dies.
Even if she could not eat or drink, a tiny morsel of bread and a drop of wine would have been placed on her tounge during the ceremony, O'Donnell told the Associated Press.
Michael Schiavo's lawyer Deborah Bushnell has told Terri's family, 'because of the court order and doctors orders, you cannot put anything in her mouth.'
Bushnell said that the religious celebration would violate doctors orders that nothing be placed in Terri's mouth to prevent her from choking while she is being starved and dehydrated to death.

micaheal schiavo is also not allowing other reletives(cousins, etc.etc) to see Terri. What's to hide, schiavo's lawyer says that Terri looks beautiful as she is being starved and dehydrated to death.
Has she been getting holy communion all along, or is this a new thing, I wonder?
If Terri was a Muslim and Michael wanted her to have a Christian burial the ACLU would be in there fighting tooth and nail to stop him.

Denying her communion and visitation by her relative is certainly not fulfulling her wishes.
Or making her parents watch her starve/dehydrate to death, that certainly was not her wish, either.
It never was about fulfilling her wishes. It's about fulfilling his wishes.
Local Orlando television channel WFTV just showed a BIG SIT DOWN IN FRONT OF THE HOSPICE this morning with DISABLED people who got out of their WHEEL CHAIRS AND CANNOT WALK. THEY ARE DARING THE POLICE TO ARREST THEM.
Debunked. Court order states that LR will be given twice with the assisstance of the hospice priest. Terri received the first LR on the day the feeding tube was removed. She will receive the final LR in accordance to the court order. They went over this yesterday in the Felos news conference. This may be an old article.

Are you aware there is also a court order (a.k.a. Judicial Decree by His Lord High Judge and Priest Greer) putting a restraining order on the Schindlers so that they are forbidden from attending her funeral/memorial service? Felos acknowledged that this was true in his fawning-in-the-spotlight press conference yesterday, with the explanation that Terri's parents have said some awful things about Michael, and he doesn't want them there at the funeral.
This is no surprise. Why would a servant of Satan do anything to give honor to God or to one of His children. Schiavo is one of the lowest life forms I have ever seen in my life.
