Need help with FR search function (vanity)

I need help with the FR search function. I am trying to locate articles regarding the Coast Guard for the first six months of 2004. When I go and enter "Coast Guard", select "match all words", and "order by post time", I get articles back to last September. When I do a "click to show more articles", I get the same articles again. When I click it once more, I get articles from December 2003 and earlier.
Anyone got an idea how to get January to August 2004 articles?? Should I ping John Robinson?

Google: "coast guard" site:freerepublic.com
It will give you many hits that you'll have to sort through, but it will cover the "missing dates".

Send me a six pack. That'll get your search on track!

Google's search did indeed bring up threads with the words "coast guard" in the thread. However, by messing around with the FR search url I was able to do a force date search by changing the attribute "x=n
" at the end of the search url. That way I could bracket the missing dates.
Minor glitch in otherwise fine software.
