As it says in the title.
More than a dozen known dead, 100's injured. The danger to our military and to us as citizens due to Newseek's irresponsible lies.
They need to be sued individually and as a class action.
Unlawful death and injury is serious.
The editors and writers also must be sued individually.
TOPICS:
KEYWORDS: deaths; extortion; injuries; koran; korandesecration; military; newsweek; shakedown
This cannot stand and Newseek should be found liable to the level where they are bankrupt.

But the magazine backtracks in this week's edition. "We regret that we got any part of our story wrong and extend our sympathies to victims of the violence and to the US soldiers caught in its midst," its editor, Mark Whitaker writes. Sympathy is fine.
Liability is another issue.

Are the US armed forces able to sue for libel/slander?

I haven't subscribed to Newsweek for over 20 years because of the way they report things. All subscribers should call and cancel their subscriptions. NOW!

I have a hard time believing that little snippet in Newsweek was the sole precursor to all this violence.
I mean really, how much of an excuse do Muzzies need to kill and maim?

John Edwards isn't too busy at the moment. And I suspect he's enough of a whore to sue fellow liberals if there's money in it. Of course, he'd take 35% off the top.

Are the tort reformers in hiding? Or do they favor lawsuits - as long as the allegations blame criminal behavior on incitement in the media?

Good concept. If any Americans are killed as result of the Newsweak BS, someone should be held criminally liable

The First Amendment does not protect against speech to incite murder of othe injury to others. Thus, one goes to jail for screaming and abusive speech on a airplane, inciting others to murder, etc.
I say that this is CRIMINAL, as well as civil violations.

Isakoff and Whitaker should be fired and charged with anything and everything that can stick.

It might be looked at as a product liability case, i.e. Newsweek manufactured a faulty product that resulted in the death of people.

Who are these dead folks, btw? I've heard some Al Qaeda were among them.
I still think Newsweek should be thoroughly discredited, and they've done untold damage to our reputation overseas--we were just gaining a tiny bit of ground post-Iraq election. But I've heard conflicting things about the dead.
