Oh! I saw that on amazon.com the other day. Thinking about reading it & then shelving it right next to my "VWRC Handbook"! :)
UMMM Make that "VRWC". Whoopsie!
that would make a nice set!
This Week on ABC. Sunday morining line up.
I was doing so well before that. I hadn't yelled at the TV in a few weeks!
My co-worker Sybil often wondered why Hillary would always wear pantsuits, and hardly ever skirts or dresses in public.
So I told her, "it's irascible..."
guess you didn't see any of the Senate on Cspan last week then, LOL!!
LmineO! A++++!
some people are rascals, and some just irascible....(mental pictures floating in my head of the Little Rascals...with Howard Dean as Spanky, Barbara B. as Alfalfa...and so on and so on....perverse morning images. I need even more coffee!)
Morning - wish we were getting rain today............I'm pouting.....
you will have to get out there on the lawn with your little watering can... ; )
I was brought up to believe that being Italian and irascible were synonomous! Being Italian and irasible just proves the point!
I went outside for 5 minutes yesterday and had sweat trickling down my back.......... lol This humidity takes some getting used to - the rest of the day we hibernated inside with blinds and drapes drawn against the sun....... the house looked like a cave!
i am not Italian but was brought up to believe the same thing, my lithuanian grandmother told me to NEVER marry an italian, bc they beat their wives! she lived long enough to meet the 100% italian xshub but not long enough to know i married him : (
Did anyone see the house make over show last night where they built a house for the family of the first female soldier killed in Iraq? It was a tear jerker!
One thing about being from New Orleans and Houston and moving to the desert...I get to truly enjoy the low humidity during summer.
My kids think it's mean how I don't turn the air conditioning on all that much. I mean, if it's under 85 in the house, and there's lots of fans, and the humidity is low, who needs A/C?
Of course, they didn't grow up in the New Orleans sweatbox like I did....
True - in humid conditions you just can't get cool enough! But I have the opposite problem here - my kids are constantly griping about the house being too cold - I tell them I don't know how to adjust the thermostat! lol............
I have a do not touch sticker on the thermostat here. I bought son a roomsized evaporative cooler for his room. I threaten pain and destruction with touching that thermostat, and it mostly works....
I like to freeze when I walk into the house......... ;^)
It would take a small fortune to make this house freeze....but I do put fans everywhere....
